Maya

Of course a nacho list should include a Mexican restaurant, and what better place than Maya. They don’t overdo it or try to wow you with all the crazy toppings, just perfect chips, beef and cheese with a healthy glob of guac.

Boxing Cat

The Full Monty Nachos have everything you’d want in a nacho platter: freshly made tortilla chips smothered in chili, cheese, sour cream, guacamole, a spicy tomato-chipotle salsa and heaps of jalapenos. And of course it doesn’t hurt to get a beer or two while you’re there.

Union Trading Co.

The best nachos break all the rules, and Union Trading Co. know how to do that well. Their T’achos forego the traditional toritilla chips in favor of crispy bakes tatter tots. Added onto that is perfect chili, melted cheese, a healthy dallop of sour cream and scallions. The negroni on the side is optional but recommended.

Shanghai Brewery

Shanghai Brewery is mostly known for their spot-on craft beers and excellent donghu lu location, but don’t sleep on their nacho platter. It’s a heaping mound of chips, cheese, tomatoes, jalapenos, black olives and beef, all the things that make nachos great and all done right.

Your only tough decision at Cages will be beef or chicken. Either is a winner and once you choose, you’ll be whisked away to a meaty, cheesy, spicy pile of bliss.

The pulled pork nachos are pretty damn solid at the Rooster, and even more solid when you consider they’re 1/2 off on Mondays.
