10 Best Eggs Benedict in Shanghai
Eggs Benedict surely isn’t the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Shanghai food. But just like pizza, Bloody Mary’s, and a slew of other western food trends, Shanghai is catching up fast. Here are 10 of our favorite Eggs Benedicts around the city.

Liquid Laundry has not one, but two jaw-dropping Benedicts. Eggs Benedict with Smoked BBQ Beef Brisket for the carnivores: perfectly poached eggs with in-house made hollandaise and a heap of smoked BBQ beef brisket. And for the vegetarians and health conscious Benedict lovers: spinach dill and artichoke Benedict. Both are RMB 88 and both are as amazing as they look.

Funkadeli needs no introduction here, but allow us to introduce you to this particularly delectable menu item. Poached eggs with seared tuna, asparagus, piquillo pepper, spiced tomato vinaigrette (pictured above) is your first option. There’s also an option B of Poached eggs with cooked ham, eggplant parmigiana, and lemon hollandaise. Both are excellent and available only during Funkadeli’s weekend brunch, Saturdays and Sundays from 12-3pm.

Azul is one of several places here that think salmon deserves to be on a perfect eggs Benedict. Who are we to argue? Cured salmon with poached eggs, spinach, roasted potato, bread, lettuce, and a thick hollandaise sauce make this one you’ll want to check out ASAP.

For an adventurous brunch-goer it’s the ultimate Benedict choice.
