Hooked, Al's and Much More in New Food Hub
There’s a food court you should know about on the B2 floor of Réel department store. It’s set to open this Sunday, October 22nd, with 56 options to choose from. Here are just a few we’re quite excited about…
Hooked
The main courses at Hooked are all about British Fish & Chips, seafood rows and Hawaiian-style seafood.
If you’re unsure of what to get, go for the Fish & Chips, cooked by a British chef Hardeep Somal, you won’t regret the decision.
D.O.C Express
Do you know why they put D.O.C in the name of this restaurant? Because it is said that when they make the pizza, the only water they use is the D.O.C water from Italy. How’s that for authentic?
Al’s Burgers
Yes, it’s the same AL from AL’S DINER. This time we’re treated to AL’S BURGERS. We can’t wait for this one.
L.A Pho
L.A PHO is the only Vietnamese restaurant in Réel.
Try their Locomotive Vietnamese Pho. The beef is so tender that you don’t even need to chew a lot to swallow it.
Dodu
One of the things we’re most excited is about has to be the second branch of Dodu. What could be better than French chefs serving up perfectly cooked roast chicken?
The fresh San Huang Chicken is roasted with a traditional French cooking style using the oven imported from France. It’s amazing.
Very Thai Noodles
This Thai noodles restaurant is extraordinarily popular in Taiwan and is set to open its first Shanghai location here.
Expect iconic Tom-Yum-Kung Noodles with Seafood and Pork. We’ve also been told that customers will get free special ice cream for the first 15 days after opening.
Kuko
The Belgian Waffles served here are as fresh and delicious as they come. With the combination of Belgian pearl sugar, imported natural cream and special filling, it’s worth a trip to Reel.
Pro tip: try the Matcha Mochi flavored ones.
Aiyomaya
Traditional Chengdu snacks are the main feature here. They are not only delicious, but also cheap enough to go nuts and order your heart out.
Their iconic Chengdu egg cakes have a variety of flavors including durian, potato chips with Laoganma, and cheese.
Dafu Roast Beef
Ever in the mood for roast beef? Well now you can stroll over to Dafu and scratch the itch.
Try their amazing Donburi and slam a beer or two, life doesn’t get much better than that.
A Sushi
This unique European Sushi restaurant is hosted by a Canadian Michelin Chef, so you can expect some serious quality and flavor here. This is also the first branch of the restaurant in Shanghai.
Wanmi
All the seafood, sushi, and ingredients are shipped from Japan. Fresh and clean.
Wuxie
If you are a huge fan of matcha, then you’ve surely heard of Wuxie.
The Signature Matcha Ice Cream is definitely one of the most tasty ice cream flavors on the planet.
ManManDan
This Japanese eel restaurant has imported every ingredient from Japan in order to provide the exact flavors they serve in their original restaurant. The average cost of a single Eel Rice Meal is around RMB 100, which is a steal for the quality.
XiaoGuanCha
This is where tea lovers should go.
You can buy different teas made by 8 tea masters including Longjing, Puer, etc.
But the store only sells tea products but no actual tea drinks..
