Canadian Wild Lobster Festival at The Pavilion Hotel

Seafood connoisseurs often refer to the hard-shelled Canadian Atlantic lobster as the “king of seafood.” It is not only delicious, but also highly versatile and one of the most nutritious sources of protein you can find. Once you’ve tasted it, you will know why it is king. Harvested in the cold pristine waters along the rugged north Atlantic coast of Canada, the lobsters are harvested from the icy salt water the same way they have been for generations, in traps attached to lines hauled in one at a time. 

If you happen to be a health-minded person who wants to savor something delicious too, you definitely should come to the lobster festival at the five-star Pavilion Shenzhen. Following up its successful lobster-themed promotion last year, the hotel is extending the event this year for three months. Fresh Canadian Clearwater Lobster cooked by our star chef in numerous ways, nourishing and healthy, smooth and delicious, is the favourite choice of gourmets in this season. 

During the lobster festival, the chefs each evening have 200 lobsters ready to cook and serve, some of which are kept alive in the fish tanks near the entrance of the Cafe Pavilion, an elegant yet natural setting to enjoy a buffet dinner with loved ones. Each diner is allowed to order one lobster cooked on site according to his or her own choice - stir-fried with chili and garlic, steamed with bell pepper sauce or roasted with Palma cheese, among other styles. The chefs have come up with a dozen recipes for cooking the lobsters on the site.

Then, diners can take freely from the ready-prepared lobster dishes on the buffet, including lobster on ice to be eaten raw with soy sauce and mustard dip, curry lobster stew, lobster steamed with chopped garlic, lobster congee, lobster sushi, lobster salad, lobster dumplings and lobster pizza. You can even try a lobster cheese tart in the dessert section.
