Daniel Wellington is looking for an experienced Social Media Manager for its Asian team.

The Social Media Manager will mainly focus in managing all Chinese social media accounts (Weibo, WeChat) for Daniel Wellington brand, and partially engage with other social media channels within Asia area. He or She will also support social media marketing plans and execute online initiatives while strengthening and maintaining customer relationships. The social media manager will be responsible for maintaining social media monitoring software tools, deploying long-term social media strategies and tracking social media interactions.

Responsibilities:

- Ideate, research, source creative, craft and edit posts for different social channels

- Determine and communicate social media strategies, information architecture and application design

- Understand and follow the established project development process

- Coordinate the creative elements required for social media channels

- Ensure work produced meets quality standards and global brand and social media framework

- Maintain weekly and monthly China social media metrics reports

Candidate Requirements:

Required Skills:

- Mandarin as mother tongue, fluency in English, excellent copywriting abilities

- Understand of all forms of social media interactions (blogs, forums, communities, etc.), and high sensitivity in social media trend.

- Ability to communicate clearly in the proper social media “voice” and “tone”

- Knowledge of social media marketing tools

- Resourceful self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment who is well organized and able to manage multiple projects

- Strong written, interpersonal and communication skills

- Certain knowledge of Photoshop, and good sense of Graphic Communication

Required Experience:

- Prior experience as a social media community manager preferred, either at an agency or on the client side

- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, PR or equivalent

- International experience (including studying abroad), good knowledge of Scandinavian culture is a plus
