人口数据背后的政治博弈: 2020美国人口普查引发的三大热议

2020年美国人口普查初步结果于4月底出炉,由于疫情等原因,此次人口普查数据的公布时间较以往有所推迟。根据公布的数据结果,7.4%的增长速度创下了美国历史上第二低,从地区差异来看,美国各州人口增长符合长期以来南部和西部的增长较快,东北部和中西部的增长较缓的总体趋势。
虽然仍有更详细的数据要在夏季陆续公布,但已经引发了美国国内对于选举制度走向、各州财税政策和少数族裔权利等美国国内政治热点问题的讨论,具体包括:(1)众议院席位及选举人票增减及选区重新划分的博弈;(2)伊利诺伊州、密西西比州和西弗吉尼亚州的人口下降的原因;(3)拉美裔人口统计是否被低估。
