　　Competition Diary　　

　　I was so excited! This is the day of the competition! And I am going to be on TV! Could it possibly be? Everybody in China will see me!

　　The first kid, well, was not very lucky because she was a third grader and answered the third question wrong. And they started playing the “I’m coming home” song. She was pretty sad but she can come back. The second kid was quite the same, which made me feel quite lame.

　　I was cold all over, but I tried not to shiver. My brain was slowing down and my stomach started to quiver. The worst was that the next kid was me, the girl with a pair of freezing feet!

　　I walked on to the spot where the spotlight is hot. It warmed me up and got me back to normal, quite a lot! I did a great job and almost gave out a cry of relief, when all 5 lights were on for me.

　　I chose CATS, which made the other representatives sad, but at least they haven’t gone mad. I got the offer, and that was that. The best of all, I didn’t get fat!
