3月30日 DDC ▶ 3C一周年庆生 3C 1Y Anniversary: 3C Ensemble (Jazz)
I never thought it could turned out to be something more than just different, new and special. It was such a simple thought when I first decided to invite those Jazz musicians in town to play and contribute together as a collective---the Creative Composers Collective. Now 3C has been going on for one year now, March 30th, is the time for a serious celebration.
我从未想过，如今它已经超越了特别与创新的定义。最初这只是极其单纯的一个想法，去邀请城里的爵士音乐家们一同演出，一起贡献力量，就像一个团队一样——创意作曲家团队 (Creative Composers Collective). 如今，3C已经走过了一年的时间，3月30日，我们将一同庆贺它的生日。
To present the synthesis of all our work in one big night is indeed very tricky to succeed. At the end, we decide that this time, 9 musicians’ work will be very well selected and 6 of those musicians will be presenting the fantastic sound to you as a band.
要在一个晚上呈现所有作曲家的作品实在很难。最终我们决定，为大家呈现其中9位爵士音乐家的优秀原创作品，其中的6位音乐家将组成一支全新的乐队，为你诠释最动听的声音。
A collective, means open mind and unlimited ideas. The musical composition of the 3C Ensemble happens to be the best explanation of all that. At this moment, I invite all of you to this beautiful celebration, no matter you have been to 3C or not, this is the place you could always see a lovely face of a endearing friend.
Collective, 意味着一个拥有开阔的思路和无限创意的团队。3C大集合之夜的作品，正恰恰完美诠释了 Collective 的定义。现在，我诚挚邀请所有人与我们共同庆生，不管你是否曾经来过3C的演出，这里，永远都会有一张你熟悉的和蔼面庞。

Creative Composers Collective (3C) was founded by Italian Jazz Guitarist Simone Schirru with the idea of creating a synergy between some of the best jazz composers in Beijing. Beginning in March 3C will be presenting a series of concerts at DDC, with each concert featuring a different composer and their original project.
北京爵士创意作曲家集合 (Creative Composers Collective) 是由意大利爵士吉他手 Simone Schirru 先生发起筹办的一个活动系列，旨在为北京最好的爵士作曲家创造积极、创意的协同平台。在这系列活动中，原创作曲家的地位被放大。活动从2017年3月开始在DDC陆续呈现，每场音乐会都有不同的作曲家和他的原创乐队。
There are two purposes of this initiative:
1. Improve the music scene by challenging musicians to propose original projects featuring high-quality performances. The performances will be recorded and made available online, allowing for greater exposure for the Beijing creative music scene.
2. Offer the audience a fulfilling cultural experience and foster an appreciation of original music and its value to the community.
“3C”这个倡议有两个目的：
1.激发音乐家带着原创音乐并进行高质量现场演出，改善音乐现场。组织者 Simone 将联合场地DDC为每场活动精心准备文案、海报、摄影、采访、宣传，现场还将进行专业录制并发布于网上，充分推广北京创意爵士乐现场。
2.为观众提供一个充实的文化体验，并培养对原创音乐及原创音乐家群体的价值认同。
All involved in the 3C series, from musicians to audience members, promoters to bar staff, are comprised completely from Beijing’s best and brightest, artistically nuanced and culturally eclectic bunch, ensuring nothing short of excellence in all aspects of our project.
