庆祝中国共产党成立100周年大会7月1日上午8时在北京天安门广场隆重举行。中共中央总书记、国家主席、中央军委主席习近平发表重要讲话。

Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, delivered an important speech at a grand gathering celebrating the centenary of the CPC's founding at Tian'anmen Square in Beijing on Thursday.

We must take resolute action to utterly defeat any attempt toward "Taiwan independence", and work together to create a bright future for national rejuvenation. 

包括两岸同胞在内的所有中华儿女，要和衷共济、团结向前，坚决粉碎任何“台独”图谋，共创民族复兴美好未来。 

No one should underestimate the great resolve, the strong will, and the extraordinary ability of the Chinese people to defend their national sovereignty and territorial integrity.

任何人都不要低估中国人民捍卫国家主权和领土完整的坚强决心、坚定意志、强大能力！ 

We have never bullied, oppressed, or subjugated the people of any other country, and we never will. Chinese people will never allow any foreign force to bully, oppress, or subjugate us. 
中国人民从来没有欺负、压迫、奴役过其他国家人民，过去没有，现在没有，将来也不会有。同时，中国人民也绝不允许任何外来势力欺负、压迫、奴役我们。

Anyone who dares try to do that will have their heads bashed bloody against the Great Wall of steel forged by over 1.4 billion Chinese people.
谁妄想这样干，必将在14亿多中国人民用血肉筑成的钢铁长城面前碰得头破血流！ 

We are eager to learn what lessons we can from the achievements of other cultures, and welcome helpful suggestions and constructive criticism. We will not, however, accept sanctimonious preaching from those who feel they have the right to lecture us. 

我们积极学习借鉴人类文明的一切有益成果，欢迎一切有益的建议和善意的批评，但我们绝不接受“教师爷”般颐指气使的说教！ 

Any attempt to divide the Party from the Chinese people or to set the people against the Party is bound to fail. The more than 95 million Party members and the more than 1.4 billion Chinese people will never allow such a scenario to come to pass.

任何想把中国共产党同中国人民分割开来、对立起来的企图，都是绝不会得逞的！9500多万中国共产党人不答应！14亿多中国人民也不答应！
