2018珠海德威国际高中年度颁奖仪式暨毕业典礼
6月7日晚6:30，德威国际高中年度颁奖现场，到处装点着鲜花，洋溢着老师、学生、家长的笑声。舞台上，一座座奖杯熠熠生辉，老师和家长们身着正装，来和学生们一起参加一年一度的颁奖典礼仪式。
嘉宾介绍
当晚参加活动的嘉宾有：德威国际教育中国区学校总监John Todd先生；珠海华发教育产业投资控股有限公司副董事长、珠海容闳学校校长、珠海市华发对外交流培训学校校长李东平先生等。

学生颁奖环节
当晚颁发的学生奖项有以下5项：班级优秀学生奖、学科显著进步奖、学科一等奖、课外活动突出表现奖、年级优秀学生奖。
全校共有151人次人次获奖。个人获奖最多的学生是：10U班学生William W获得6个奖项，10L班Shirley H、11U 班Pearl S、13U班Mandy Z这三位同学分别获得5个奖项。
其中最具备含金量的是“年级优秀学生”奖，每年级仅一位学生获此殊荣。本年度四位获奖者分别是：
10年级：William W

12年级：Nicole L
13年级：Mandy Z

Head Boy & Head Girl交接仪式
接下来是Head Boy和Head Girl交接仪式进行，在一段真诚的致辞后，现任 Kiky M和Julian P取下胸前的徽章，现场为新任Head Girl Corrina W和Head Boy Colin J别在胸前，这个仪式意味着新一届德威学生最高领导者诞生。

家长颁奖环节
家长颁奖环节中，根据2017-2018年度家长参与学校活动的记录，评选出41位家长，他们分别获得“好学上进奖”、“积极参与奖”、“乐施奉献奖”三个奖项，分别奖励了参与沙龙及家长社团积极的家长、参与学校家校活动次数多的家长、捐助学生慈善活动和为学生社团提供帮助的家长。

家联会主席发言
接下来是珠海德威高中家联会主席刘统一先生和本届毕业班13年级家联会主席刘英女士致辞。在此之后，13年级为母校赠送了毕业礼物，是一尊孔子塑像，希望借先师孔圣座像，向师者传递厚德载物、德为世范，向莘莘学子传播共聆教勉、忠信崇德。

13年级毕业典礼
最后是13年级毕业典礼，今年珠海德威有40位毕业生，他们身着毕业礼袍，值得一提的是胸前的LOGO是我校艺术助理Luna老师设计的，正面看是DHZH(珠海德威的缩写)，而当学生自己低头看时，则是中国书法中的“谦”字。（如下图所示）
截稿时为止，本届毕业生已获得184个来自世界各地著名大学的录取通知书，正踌躇满志地迎接着新未来。在师生集体合影留念后，他们高高抛起了毕业帽，欢呼着高中时代的结束，同时预示着另一个新起点的开始。

尾声
这场颁奖总结了过去的一年全校学生的综合表现，在表彰先进、树立榜样的同时，对所有学生起到提醒和鞭策的作用。预祝我们德威毕业生离开母校后在异国他乡再创佳绩、迎接更有挑战、更美好的未来！

On June 7th, the school invited all the teachers, school staffs and parents to attend the annual Prize Giving Ceremony at Dulwich International High School Zhuhai.
◆Special Guests◆
It was our honor to have Mr John Todd, the Regional Director of Dulwich College International, China and Mr Li Dongping, the Deputy Chairman of Zhuhai Huafa Education Investment Holdings Co., Ltd.; the Headmaster of Yung Wing School and the Headmaster of Zhuhai Huafa Foreign Exchange Training School with us for the ceremony. The whole event began after a warm welcome by our Director, Mr Andrew Macdonald-Brown.
◆Highlights of the Ceremony◆
Five genres of prizes were awarded to approximately 151 students. Some excellent students have gained more than four individual awards and they are: William from 10U, Shirley from 10L, Pearl from 11U and Mandy from 13U.
One of the most valuable prizes -- “outstanding student of the year”, is awarded to only one student in each year group and these distinguished students are:
Year 10: William W
Year 11: Minnie J
Year 12: Nicole L
Year 13: Mandy Z
◆The Handover Ceremony◆
The Current Head Girl, Kiky M and Head Boy Julian P symbolically handed over their badges to the new Head Girl Corrina W and the Head Boy Colin J. This ceremony is a symbolic transition to the new student leaders in the school.
◆Parents' Prize Giving

Apart from the students, there were 41 outstanding parent’s awards, for those who; actively attended the events held by Friends of Dulwich, supported the student held charity activities and student clubs.
◆A Speech by Friends of Dulwich
◆
After a speech by the Mr Liu Tongyi, the Chairperson of the Friends of Dulwich and Mrs Liu Ying, the Head of Year 13 Friends of Dulwich, the whole year group presented a statue of Confucius as a gift to their Alma Mater – Dulwich.
◆The Graduation Ceremony◆
We are proud that we have 40 excellent graduates this year. The academic gown was designed by our art assistant: Ms Luna. You can see a “DHZH” in the front of the gown, but the student will see a word “modest” in Chinese calligraphy.
Our graduates have received offers from all the great universities of the world. This ceremony not only means the end of their Highschool life, but also represents a new beginning.

This Prize Giving and Graduation ceremony gave the perfect conclusion to the students’ performances over the year, the school rewards the hard work of students and encourages students to reach their full potential. We also sincerely wish all the graduates great successes in their future life and Dulwich will always be here for you.
