Brewing Isn’t Just For Boys – Women's Day Specials!
In celebration of Women’s Day, our Beijing Boxing Cat brewer Kate He got together with 6 Beijing beer industry ladies to brew a special beer.
Out of some heated WeChat brainstorming and a very fun day of brewing with the fairer sex came our Hua Mulan Brut IPA.
Hua Mulan pours a beautiful pink from the addition of black goji, has a distinct tartnesss from the addition of hawthorn, is laced with fruity & piney flavors from the propriety Pink Boots hop blend, and finishes bone dry.
ABV 4.3% IBU 19

We named the beer after one of our favorite female warriors, Hua Mulan – because she is a badass & this beer is badass too.
International Women’s Day is on a FRIDAY this year (yes!) which means early happy hour for all of you ladies out there! We’re going to run buy-1-get-1 on Hua Mulan Brut IPA all day on Friday, March 8th on our Beijing location. Get your ladies together and come pregame your night out with us.
Starting on March 8th at our Beijing location we will also have our Pink Boots Single Hop IPA on tap. This beer was brewed using this year’s Pink Boots hop blend (a wonderful medley of American hoppy goodness), stripped down without all of the frills to showcase the beer’s hop flavors and aromas.
