Yunnan Amber Ale Coming Soon

Yunnan Amber Ale, a collaboration jointly created and brewed by Boxing Cat Brewery and Beijing’s Great Leap Brewing, is hitting the shelves at all three Boxing Cat Brewery on April 5. Yunnan Amber Ale has been one of our most popular collaboration brews for years and this will be the 7th collaboration. The beer is brewed with three different malts and three different hop varieties to create a simple yet tasty brew comprised of light caramel malt tones and low hop bitterness. The addition of dianhong black tea from Yunnan Province adds a light floral tea finish to the beer. Yunnan Amber is remarkably drinkable and a unique product from two of China’s most innovative craft breweries. Come to BCB next week and grab a pint to wash down your post-holiday weekend blue!

Why Great Leap Brewing?

Great Leap Brewing was founded in 2010 in Beijing, China and is a pioneer of Beijing’s recent craft beer revolution. Great Leap pride themselves on their philosophy of sourcing the majority of their brewing ingredients locally including: 100 percent locally grown and processed hops, teas, spices, fruits, vegetables, coffees, sugars and honeys. Visitors to Great Leap Brewing can expect at least 12 beers on tap at once and over 40 different beers year round.

大跃啤酒成立于2010年，是北京精酿啤酒的先锋力量。大跃秉承使用本地原料的酿酒哲学，使用百分百本地生长并加工的啤酒花、茶叶、香料、果蔬、咖啡，糖与蜂蜜。大跃啤酒同一时段至少供应12种新鲜啤酒，并在全年会有超过40款啤酒供应。
