报告人简介
Dr. Lee is a University Distinguished Professor Emeritus at Virginia Tech. He is a member of the U.S. National Academy of Engineering, U.S. National Academy of Inventors, an academician of Taiwan’s Academia Sinica, and a foreign member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, China. Dr. Lee founded the Center for power electronics and led a program that encompasses research, technology development, educational outreach, industry collaboration, and technology transfer. To date, more than 230 companies worldwide have benefited from this industry partnership program.
Dr. Lee has supervised to completion 89 Ph.D. and 93 M.S. students. He holds over 100 US patents, and has published over 330 journal articles and more than 760 refereed technical papers. His research interests include high-frequency power conversion, magnetics and EMI, distributed power systems, renewable energy, power quality, high-density electronics packaging and integration, and modeling and control.
Dr. Lee is a recipient of the 2015 IEEE Medal in Power Engineering “for contributions to power electronics, especially high-frequency power conversion."

Power electronics — the key technology for grid integration

Frede Blaabjerg (S’86–M’88–SM’97–F’03) was with ABB-Scandia, Randers, Denmark, from 1987 to 1988. From 1988 to 1992, he got the PhD degree in Electrical Engineering at Aalborg University in 1995. He became an Assistant Professor in 1992, an Associate Professor in 1996, and a Full Professor of power electronics and drives in 1998. From 2017 he became a Villum Investigator. He is honoris causa at University Politehnica Timisoara (UPT), Romania and Tallinn Technical University (TTU) in Estonia.
His current research interests include power electronics and its applications such as in wind turbines, PV systems, reliability, harmonics and adjustable speed drives. He has published more than 600 journal papers in the fields of power electronics and its applications. He is the co-author of four monographs and editor of ten books in power electronics and its applications.
He has received 33 IEEE Prize Paper Awards, the IEEE PELS Distinguished Service Award in 2009, the EPE-PEMC Council Award in 2010, the IEEE William E. Newell Power Electronics Award 2014, the Villum Kann Rasmussen Research Award 2014, the Global Energy Prize in 2019 and the 2020 IEEE Edison Medal. He was the Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON POWER ELECTRONICS from 2006 to 2012. He has been Distinguished Lecturer for the IEEE Power Electronics Society from 2005 to 2007 and for the IEEE Industry Applications Society from 2010 to 2011 as well as 2017 to 2018. In 2019-2020 he served as a President of IEEE Power Electronics Society. He has been Vice-President of the Danish Academy of Technical Sciences.
He is nominated in 2014-2020 by Thomson Reuters to be between the most 250 cited researchers in Engineering in the world.

Dr Yuan has been full professor with Huazhong university of sci. & tech. since 2011, and he served as Chief Engineer of electrical engineering for the global research center of the General Electric company prior to his university career. He is pioneer in the area of dynamics of power electronics dominated large power systems, and he developed the "amplitude/frequency modulation theory" for analysizing dynamics of general AC power systems.

罗海辉，博士，中国中车首席技术专家，现任株洲中车时代半导体有限公司常务副总经理兼研发中心主任。长期从事IGBT和碳化硅功率器件技术研发与产业化工作，带领团队构建全电压系列IGBT产品技术平台并为轨道交通、新能源汽车、工业和输配电等领域提供功率半导体器件解决方案。入选“国家重点领域创新团队”，核心参与项目“高压大电流IGBT芯片关键技术及应用”并荣获2019年国家技术发明奖二等奖（排名3/6），获省部级科技奖5项，通过省部级科技成果鉴定4项。申请发明专利100余项，其中46项发明专利已授权。在国际会议、国内外核心期刊发表论文40余篇。

Harufusa Kondo received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from Osaka University, JAPAN. In 1985, he joined the LSI R&D Laboratory, Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, where he had been engaged in the design of system VLSI’s for digital communication. In 2003, he moved to the Optical and High-frequency Device Works as a manager of Optical Transceiver. Since 2009, he has been working at Power Device Works for the development of DIPIPM™, Industrial IGBT modules, and high-voltage modules for railway application including SiC. He is currently the Senior Technical Advisor at Power Device Works, Mitsubishi Electric Corporation.

2003在中国华南理工大学获得机械工程学士学位。2003年至2009年，在住友达电气（中国）有限公司从事开关电源产品开发。2009年加入富士电气（中国）有限公司，任通用变频器设计工程师。2011年起，任职于富士电气（中国）半导体部，并在半导体应用工程部建设贡献。目前的职责包括工业、可再生能源和电动汽车应用的各种功率半导体模块的研发。
