2.带“总”字的头衔、称谓怎么译
“总”字在各种职务、职称中的译法主要有两种:用chief(-in-chief)和general(-general).
总司令 commander-in-chief,

总编辑 editor-in-chief,

3、带“主”字的头衔、称谓怎么译
带“主”字的头衔、称谓有“主席”、“主任”、“主管”等。
除国家主席通常用president外，
一般的“主席”用chairman,
“主任”用director、chief(或-in-chief)、head,
“主管”用chief、in chief(或-in-charge)等词。
