With only one month to go until this year's Beijing Burger Festival, the 40 burger vendors secured to feed you up are sourcing their finest beef, tomatoes, lettuce, and buns to keep you full 'til the cows come home.
This year's rock 'n' roll-themed event will take place in the warrenous Galaxy Soho on the weekend of Jun 16-17. Accordingly, there'll be an entertainment galore, including a bucket-load of high-energy bands, DJs, and performers to keep you pogoing throughout the weekend. Those will include the finest line-up of Beijing's rockers, a rock 'n' roll karaoke contest (start practicing that growl now), and even a kids area so that the young'uns can get to grips with throwing devil horns at an early age.
Last year's event attracted close to 20,000 hungry burger fans and we hope to outdo ourselves this year by holding the biggest festival in honor of the glorious combination of meat and buns that Beijing has ever seen.
Early bird tickets for the festival can be nabbed now for RMB 17 – a hat-tip to how long our parent company True Run Media has now been in business – by scanning the QR code in the poster above (or the QR code at the bottom of this blog). They'll also be on sale at the door for RMB 30.
As always, advance tickets come with a free limited edition gift. This time around, we've designed an ultra-chic and multi-purpose bandana for you and your loved ones to redeem upon entry. Great for wiping away sweat, ketchup, and tears of joy in unison as you feast on some of the best burgers you've ever fit your mouth around. Remember that if you're looking for some incentive to get into the burger spirit, you can browse the winners of last year's Burger Cup here, which will again kick off as soon as the festival is over. There's plenty to keep your salivating until mid-June.
