How to Get to This Weekend's Beijing Burger Festival Blowout
With mere hours to go until the Beijing Burger Festival kicks off at Galaxy Soho at 11am this Saturday (tomorrow), Jun 16, we're sure you're just excited about the prospect as we are. To make sure you can successfully navigate your empty belly to our rock 'n' roll-themed burger festival this weekend, we've put together these easy-to-follow directions.
"But how do I gain access to all this unrestrained meaty (and not-so-meaty for the vegetarians) glory?!" you may be asking. Well, this year, the burger action is right in the center of town, at Zaha Hadid's swooping sci-fi looking Galaxy Soho structure in Chaoyangmen.
Located just a hop, skip, and a jump from central Beijing, Galaxy Soho is a breeze to get to whether you're coming from the north, south, east, or west (to be honest, it's pretty hard to miss).
If you're planning to get there by taxi you can ask your driver to take you to 银河soho (yínhé soho) or 朝阳门桥西南角 (cháoyángmén qiáo xīnánjiǎo, literally "the southwest corner or Chaoyangmen bridge").
The event runs from 11am-8pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Early bird ticket sales are over but tickets will still be available at the door for RMB 30.
