The Beijing
Academy of Artificial Intelligence brings some of China's leaders in
machine-based learning together for a discussion about what the future
holds in the field. Keynote speaker Li Zizi, Tsinghua University
professor and director of the Language and Knowledge Computing Committee
of the Chinese Information Society, will lead the discussion, shedding
light on knowledge-guided natural language processing and learning-based
computer-aided translation.

Than Data and Google jointly present a workshop focussing on mobile
advertising strategies. The talk will impart practical advice on how to
adjust your existing advertising strategies, enhance your
competitiveness, optimize an advertisement plan, and control the costs
associated with doing so. Among the key speakers is a CEO from Malaysian
financial comparison aggregator iMoney.

Australia China
Youth Association (ACYA) invites you for this night of high-stakes
competitive boardgame fun! Come along and enjoy free drinks and snacks
as you work your way through games like Monopoly, Jenga, and chess, all
the while making new friends (when you're not crushing them with your
boardgame prowess).

Ok, so this event
might technically be aimed at kids and families, but hey, we're all
somebody's kid! This Saturday (coinciding with Children's Day), head
over to the Shangri-La Hotel in the afternoon to get stuck into as much
delicious ice cream as you can. Perhaps pair up with a friend of the
opposite sex and another one who is vertically challenged and pretend to
be a 'family' so you can score the group entry price.
