Eat Your Way Around the World at This Gongti Restaurant
You might be in for a few surprises when you look at the menu at Cafe Ruhe. Because unlike many more traditional restaurants, it incorporates a wide range of dishes and drinks from different countries around the world and, more surprisingly, executes each one with aplomb. If you love dining out with friends but can never reach a consensus on what to eat then this is the restaurant for you.
After sampling Cafe Ruhe’s signature double bacon cheeseburger, you’ll wonder why burgers don’t make it onto more fine dining lists. Many customers have said that this is a “Michelin-level” burger and their evaluation is justified by the amount of work that has gone into creating it. After multiple tests, Cafe Ruhe settled on the perfect combination of eleven kinds of selected fresh ingredients and seven different seasonings.
Cafe Ruhe uses only imported beef from Australia to make their burger patties and the cooking time is carefully controlled to ensure that the beef stays as tender and juicy as possible. The burger buns are also made fresh every day. From kneading to baking, the buns are fully hand-made without any additives and are fermented with natural yeast to give a tender texture and fragrant flavor.
The perfect burger has a balanced ratio of beef, bread, salad, and sauces.
To build their burger, Cafe Ruhe’s chef first cut the bread, then spread it with butter and sauce, then add the salad, patties, and cheese, and finally, the bacon. When you take a bite, you can taste each ingredient individually, but also taste how they compare and contrast with each other. The burger itself is so juicy that you’ll definitely need a napkin.
If you prefer something a little different, Cafe Ruhe also recommends the crispy mushroom burger with cheese. The whole crispy mushroom gives the burger a subtle earthy flavor while the amount of cheese will satisfy even the most ardent of cheese lovers.
Pack your atlas, because Cafe Ruhe wants to take you on a journey around the world.

If you wouldn’t expect to find Chiuchow clay pot congee on the menu in a western restaurant, then you’re not alone. The combination of shrimp, squid, preserved eggs, and minced pork add a surf and turf feel.

French cuisine is represented by the grilled rosemary lamb chops. Selected lamb chops are marinated for 12 hours with rosemary and red wine. Dip into cumin and chili before eating for an extra tasty experience.
Taiwanese-Style Fried Chicken
The spice sprinkled outside the fried chicken is imported from Taiwan to ensure that it is as fragrant as possible. Cafe Ruhe uses chicken thigh instead of breast to ensure that it is as juicy as possible. Remember to eat the chicken as soon as it is served, when the skin is still very crisp.
