Cinemas, KTVs, and Gyms Get the Green Light to Open in Beijing

The good news just keeps coming! As officials have reduced the city's risk status to level three, more entertainment venues are starting to open up and welcome their first wave of guests after months-long closures. According to Beijing Daily, however, (and the common sense of anyone who's been in the city for the last six months) Beijing's plans to reopen these indoor spaces come with a laundry list of epidemic prevention measures.

Beijing's cinemas are set to open Jul 24. You can follow the WeChat official account of 北京本地宝 Beijing Bendibao (ID: bdbbeijing) and text the account “电影院” (dianyingyuan) for a list of open cinemas, schedule of movie screenings, and instructions on how to book your tickets.
Purchasing tickets: online real-name appointment, no-contact ticket sales, tickets only available for the purchase of every other seat.
Entering the cinema: audiences will need to get their temperatures checked and wear a mask for the duration of the movie.
Seating: the seating capacity should not exceed 30 percent for each movie to ensure a distance of more than one meter between strangers.
Viewing: in principle, snacking should not be allowed.
You can also text "KTV" to the Wechat official account of Beijing Bendibao to obtain information on the reopening of KTVs and instructions on how to make a reservation.
The number of consumers accepted should not exceed 50 percent capacity.
The number of consumers in each private room should not exceed 50 percent capacity, which must be clearly indicated at the door.
The number of consumers accepted in amusement and entertainment venues should not exceed 50 percent capacity.
Consumer entertainment time should not exceed two hours.
