Day 1 of Burger Fest: A Space-bound Spectacular!
advertisement
You won't believe the view from out beyond the atmosphere – or rather, out near the East Fifth Ring Road, where burger enthusiasts flocked in droves to discover a meaty paradise at the huge track-field building in Langyuan Station.
Remember that tickets are always available at the gate for days 2-3 (today and tomorrow, Sep 20-21), so do join us for more of the capital's finest finger food.
Please note, however, that we've had to make some adjustments for the remainder of the fest in order to ensure safety and comply with authorities. The festival will go on, of course, but there are some updates you should be aware of:
Masks MUST be worn when not eating or drinking.
There’s two ways to take are of this: either put the mask back on when you are done eating and drinking, or simply do NOT stop eating and drinking!!! (After all, this is what food festivals are for).
Please keep your mask around your ears so that you can put back it on when your mouth is not in action.
There is a capacity limit to the venue, set by the authorities. Once that capacity is reached, we will need to hold new entries until some of the guests inside leave. Priority will be given to early bird ticket holders.
Online tickets are no longer available but we will have tickets at the door. Early bird tickets (no matter what the date) will be honored all days.
We have been required to stop letting guests in at 7pm. The party will continue inside until the regular closing time of 8pm.
Due to noise complaints, to prevent overcrowding and due to regulatory requirements, we've had to cancel the stage performances.
Other than that, it's GAME ON! We're doing our best to assure a safe and entertaining festival in a challenging environment. It’s very hard to predict how authorities might react so please bear with us. But it will be warm and dry at Burger Fest today, some come dodge the rain and enjoy some burgers and brews!
Before joining us for today and tomorrow's festivities, check out these memories made yesterday:
