New “By Zrou” Line Offers Up Tasty Meat-Free Snacks
At the heart of Zrou is environmental responsibility and they seek to create products that will persuade consumers to make the “more good”, plant based choice. All of Zrou’s ingredients are sourced from within China such as non-GMO soybeans, konjac, coconut oil and shiitake mushrooms and all products are also manufactured within China.
Their aim is to be loved by vegetarians and meat lovers alike, and in this vein, they have just launched, for the first time, their “By Zrou” line of products that are directly available to the consumer. These new products will give customers access to a wide range of products that are easy to cook, delicious and high in protein making them especially good for fitness fans.
Eight products make up the "By Zrou" line, which includes an impressive four different kinds of plant-based chicken nuggets. These include Original Flavor, Sichuan Green Pepper Flavor, Hot and Spicy Flavor and Black Pepper Flavor. They are sure to be a much healthier and more environmentally friendly option than those offered by any fast-food joint in town.
Along with the variety of chicken nuggets the new “By Zrou” product line also has a number of plant-based beef options. These consist of Plant-based Beef Patties, Plant-based Beef Slices and Plant-based Beef Chunk. The latter two are perfect for creating and experimenting with meat-free recipes at home and the plant-based beef patties are of course a great way to change up your usual go to burger combination.

Another recently launched line of products from Zrou is their Zrou Chef Creations which are a range of ready meal style products designed by a variety of celebrity chefs. The line has a focus on Chinese cuisine like their Lurou Rice, a meat-free version of the Beijing classic Zha Jiang Mian, or for those who enjoy a bit of spice a Singaporean Curry Rice with Zrou Meatballs.
As to what is next in the pipeline, Zrou will soon be launching a new Plant-based Green Lasagna created by Chef Lucky which is definitely something worth looking out for!
