Let's Come Together and Help Tobal!
Toby, a longtime Beijinger team member, former board member of the Beijing LGBT Center, and a longtime Beijing resident from the Philippines, has done a lot for the LGBT+ community in Beijing, and is known to all who have met him as a kind and generous person.
Now, he needs our help and generosity. He was recently hit by a speeding motorcycle while crossing the street in his hometown in the Philippines, where he has been since the first Covid-19 outbreak, unable to return to China. Toby escaped the ordeal with a lacerated skull, huge gash on his backside, as well as gashes on his elbow, knees, toes, forehead and nose, rendering him unable to move at present.
To make matters worse, he is currently at home and unable to receive medical care, as he couldn’t afford to pay the hospital bill.
