Beersmith Brings Three New Burgers and More with Their New Menu
Exciting news for burger lovers! Beersmith have updated their menu and added three new burgers for you to try, including a vegetarian one. Along with the new burgers they’ve also added a few other new dishes, as well as giving some updates to longstanding Beersmith favorites. Yours truly was able to give a few of these a try recently. Below are the juicy details.
The Bacon BBQ Burger is already a firm favorite
First things first, the new burgers! Already proving popular with Beersmith customers is the new Bacon BBQ Burger (RMB 108) which has a 200g Angus beef patty, streaky bacon, fried onion, cheddar, BBQ sauce, and lettuce all sandwiched together between a brioche bun and served up with a side of fries. I was a big fan of the bacon in this burger. It was salty and crisp, lending the burger a perfect bit of extra crunch.
The new vegetarian burger brings big flavor
The new vegetarian burger, aptly named No Meat Burger (RMB 88), sports an OmniPork meat patty, chipotle mayo, jalapenos and lettuce in a brioche bun and served with tortilla chips and tomato salsa.
As a non-vegetarian I was surprised by how just meaty this burger tasted and the jalapenos and chipotle mayo gave it a great little spicy kick. The last new burger that’s been added is the Chicken Satay Burger (RMB 98) which consists of a grilled chicken leg, peanut sauce, cucumber, pickled acara vegetables in a brioche bun served with fries.
The new Angus Sirloin Steak with Roast Corn Salad is already proving popular with patrons
Aside from the burgers they have also added a few other items to the menu, including some great sharing options, one of which already looks set to become firm favorite: the Angus Sirloin Steak with Roast Corn Salad (RMB 258) which comes served with pico de gallo, salsa verde, guacamole and tortilla chips.
Two other sharing plates they’ve added are the Party Snack Platter (RMB 288) which consists of calabrese salami, mortadella, French baked ham, smoked emmental sausage, gruyere cheese, mixed pickles, olives, grapes, apple, pringles, pretzels and grissini sticks or the Vegetable and Fruit Crudités (RMB 88) with hummus.
Just look at how juicy these prawns look
There have been some updates to their seafood selection too adding Grilled King Prawns (RMB 168) which sees four juicy grilled king prawns served with green asparagus and roasted grapefruit chili ginger salsa. They’ve also given their Fish and Chips (RMB 168) a revamp, swapping the previous serving of sweet potato fries for togarashi spiced French fries and giving the tartar sauce a spicy upgrade by adding wasabi.
These chicken wings are sweet, spicy and super delicious
The last two new items on the menu are the California Flatbread (RMB 98), flatbread topped with mozzarella, sun dried tomato, avocado, sweet corn, grilled chicken and thousand island sauce and the Spicy Chicken Wings and Lemongrass (RMB 78). I was a big fan of the chicken wings which had the perfect balance between sweet and spicy.
Along with all this they’ve also now made their brunch menu available on weekdays from 9am – 12pm. This features dishes like the Beersmith Pub Breakfast (RMB 98) or Huevos Rancheros (RMB 68).
Sour and fruity with just a hint of sweetness, the Super Fruit Pastry Sour is perfect for cooling off in the summer heat
Now it wouldn’t be Beersmith without some new beer and brewmaster Jonathan Therrian delivers with the Super Fruit Pastry Sour. This tart little number is super refreshing and perfect for summer, and you can expect more of these style beers being added to the menu in future.
