Where To Find a Classic French Quiche in the Capital
Continuing on my journey to find classic dishes from around the world in the capital, today I’ll be looking at where you can get a classic French quiche. These savory tarts filled with cream, cheese, eggs and a whole range of other fillings make for a perfect breakfast, lunch, or even a light dinner.
Deli De Luxe
This gourmet deli has tons of perfect lunchtime dishes on offer, and among them are two quiches. The first one is Pumpkin and Feta Cheese (small RMB 46, large RMB 68), which sees a quiche absolutely jam-packed with pumpkin, spinach and feta cheese. The other quiche available is the delicious Salmon and Dill (small RMB 48, large RMB 72) which has spinach, smoked salmon, shallots and capers combined together. Both quiches come served up with a small side salad and sauce.

Jiangmaitang
As you might expect from a French bakery, Jiangmaitang has multiple quiches available. They have two vegetarian quiches: the Vegetable Quiche (RMB 40), which sees layers of zucchini, pumpkin and spinach all piled up to make a delicious veggie delight; and Goat’s Cheese Quiche (RMB 50), which has goat’s cheese, spinach, onion and bell peppers. They also have a Salmon Quiche (RMB 50) that consists of smoked salmon and leek, and a Bacon Quiche (RMB 40) that has bacon, onion, spinach and cherry tomatoes. The quiches come with a small side salad and vinaigrette.

Paddy O’Sheas’s
Irish restaurant Paddy O’Shea’s has three different quiches on offer as part of their "Pub World Classic" menu options. For their 6" Quiches (RMB 68) you can choose from Lardons, Spinach, or Salmon and Spinach (+RMB 15). If you’re not hungry enough for a whole quiche, or if you want to mix and match with a few different ones, they also have Mini Quiches (RMB 25) available too.

Comptoirs de France
French bakery chain Comptoirs de France brings a true French classic with their Quiche Lorraine (RMB 29), which boasts a filling of bacon bits and cooked onion. They've also got a Grilled Vegetables and Goat Cheese (RMB 29) quiche available that combines zucchini, spinach, pumpkin and, of course, goat’s cheese.

Chez Soi
French bistro Chez Soi keeps things traditional with their Quiche Lorraine (RMB 38), which of course has the usual filling of pieces of bacon and onion. It comes served up with a generous side salad to create an ideal lunch option.
