The new Workers' Stadium is ready for business, welcoming Beijing Guoan for their Chinese Super League (CSL) season opener against Meizhou Hakka on Apr 15, according to Xinhua and other sources.

Taking a look at a season schedule posted to the CSL's Weibo account, the match will start at 8.05pm following an opening ceremony for the stadium. After the match, Guoan will go on the road until Apr 29, when they'll return to Gongti to play against Shandong Taishan.

Workers' Stadium was constructed in 1959 as one of "Ten Projects" built in celebration of the PRC's 10th anniversary. The original stadium underwent renovations in 2004, and was finally torn down in 2020 to make way for New Gongti, as it's been dubbed by the stadium's construction company.

While tickets are not yet on sale for Guoan's first match on Saturday, people in the know have told us tickets usually go on sale three to five days prior to game day (so either tomorrow or Wednesday). 2019 prices for tickets were around RMB 150, although prices for 2023 have not yet been announced.

If you consider yourself to be a Guoan superfan you can try your luck at nabbing an annual ticket (providing they've not yet sold out). Ticket prices range from RMB 950 for upper seats and RMB 2400 for lower seats, and take up the north and northeast sections of the stadium (see chart below).
