The Grand Brasserie, Waldorf Astoria Shanghai on the Bund
All classy marble interiors and comfy leather banquettes, if hotel brunches were based on looks alone we reckon the Waldorf Astoria's Grand Brasserie might clinch it. Happily, the food is just as baller as the interiors, offering guests a semi-buffet experience (which basically means you get à la carte and buffet) with free-flow Champagne options too. Feast on three à la carte dishes plus the buffet, which includes premium seafood, oysters served at the hotel’s Long Bar, caviar, fresh bread and pastries, cold cuts and more. Oh, and there’s a live jazz band to serenade you too.
Sun, from 11am-3pm. RMB688 per person (free-flow soft drinks), RMB888 per person (includes free-flow soft drinks, red and white wine, Perrier Jouët Champagne), plus 15 percent service charge. Kids up to 12 years old dine for free throughout the month of June.
The Grand Brasserie, Waldorf Astoria Shanghai on the Bund, 2 Zhongshan Dong Yi Lu.
