This New Skywalk at Jin Mao Tower Looks Terrifying

Back in the day, pirates had to force people to walk the plank, but it turns out in Shanghai people will do it voluntarily.

Tickets will go on sale Thursday July 28 for a new death defying Bundside attraction. Definitely not for the faint of heart, a new outdoor 'skywalk' at Jin Mao Tower is giving visitors an exciting (albeit with the possibility of vomit inducing) experience to walk amongst the clouds with a unique view of our glorious Bund skyline.

Blaze trails on a 60 meter long and 1.2 meter wide glass structure, the tallest of its kind in the entire world, with the assistance of safety harnesses but without any guard rails. Participants will be required to sign a waiver that they are mentally and physically fit enough to give it a go. Ticket prices will be announced on the day of the grand opening.

Some recently released photos of the skywalk in action depict smiling people, so it can't be too bad, right?

Good thing they are wearing helmets, that will certainly be a big help if they fall!

Ticket prices will be released when they go on sale tomorrow. They can be purchased on the basement floor of the building next to the ticket office for the Observatory.
