We Eat It And So Should You: Cinnamon Bun Ice Cream
It's hot as balls in Shanghai right now, and you're right we need a scoop of ice cream to cool down. Cinna Swirl, those guys who make cinnamon buns with cream cheese icing, probably realized at some point that eating hot sticky buns in the Shanghai summertime is equal to sticking your body into a furnace.
So they invented a limited edition ice cream version:
Taste-wise the base flavor strikes as a creamy, very thick vanilla, with a strong current of cinnamon and the occasional cakey nugget of dough. The actual bun pieces in the ice cream are a nice touch – it’s almost like eating the actual thing.
Fancy it? One scoop is RMB20, and two is RMB30, including a waffle cone. Available for a limited time only.
