Shanghai Police Create Music Video for Fireworks Ban
By Lauren Hogan
Thinking about lighting up for Chinese New Year?
This newly released mega-hit might have you singing a different tune.
Police
from Jing'an District have created a music video aimed at bringing
attention to the city's firework and firecracker ban. Based off Romanian
band O-Zone'es 'Dragostea Diin Tei', this catchy melody touches on the
importance of environmental and public safety during the festive season
and even features celebrities: Gu Chao, the goalkeeper for the China
men's national football team and Wang Zheng, commentator for the Great
Sports Channel.
Check out the soon-to-be hit below, and remember, fireworks and firecrackers are banned within the Outer Ring Road.
