G20为什么对中国这么重要？习近平这样说
2013年以来，习近平参加过3次G20峰会，分别在俄罗斯圣彼得堡、澳大利亚布里斯班、土耳其安塔利亚举行。其实，习近平在多个外事场合都谈到过G20，并向相关国家的首脑发出诚挚邀请。
G20为什么对中国这么重要？习近平这样说。
【1】全球经济复苏，需要二十国集团各成员肩负起应有的责任。
The global economic recovery requires the G20 members to shoulder their due responsibilities.
当前，世界经济逐步走出低谷，形势继续朝好的方向发展。同时，国际金融危机负面影响依然存在，一些国家经济尚未摆脱衰退，全球经济复苏依然有很长的路要走。
At present, the world economy is gradually stepping out of the bottom, and the situation continues to develop in a good direction. At the same time, the negative impact of international financial crisis still exists, and there is still a long way to go for the global economy to recover.
形势决定任务，行动决定成效。为此，我们要放眼长远，努力塑造各国发展创新、增长联动、利益融合的世界经济，坚定维护和发展开放型世界经济。
We should strive to shape a world economy, where all countries enjoy development and innovation, growth linkage, and interests integration.
——发展创新，是世界经济可持续增长的要求。单纯依靠刺激政策和政府对经济大规模直接干预的增长，只治标、不治本，而建立在大量资源消耗、环境污染基础上的增长则更难以持久。要提高经济增长质量和效益，避免单纯以国内生产总值增长率论英雄。各国要通过积极的结构改革激发市场活力，增强经济竞争力。
Development and innovation are required by the sustainable growth of the world economy. All countries should improve the quality and efficiency of economic growth, and enhance economic competitiveness through active structure reform.
——增长联动，是世界经济强劲增长的要求。一个强劲增长的世界经济来源于各国共同增长。各国要树立命运共同体意识，真正认清“一荣俱荣、一损俱损”的连带效应，在竞争中合作，在合作中共赢。
Growth linkage is required by the strong growth of the world economy. All countries shouldbuild the awareness of a community of common destiny, cooperating in competition, andachieving win-win results in cooperation.
在追求本国利益时兼顾别国利益，在寻求自身发展时兼顾别国发展。相互帮助不同国家解决面临的突出问题是世界经济发展的客观要求。让每个国家发展都能同其他国家增长形成联动效应，相互带来正面而非负面的外溢效应。
Give consideration to the interests of other countries, when pursuing the national interests of our own, and taking care of the development of other countries when seeking our own development. We should form a linkage effect between the development of one country and that of other countries.
——利益融合，是世界经济平衡增长的需要。平衡增长不是转移增长的零和游戏，而是各国福祉共享的增长。各国要充分发挥比较优势，共同优化全球经济资源配置，完善全球产业布局，建设利益共享的全球价值链，培育普惠各方的全球大市场，实现互利共赢的发展。
Integration of interests is required by the balanced growth of the world economy. All countries should build a global value chain that shares interest, and foster a big global market that benefits all parties, achieving the development of mutual benefits and win-win results.
塑造这样的世界经济，需要二十国集团各成员建设更加紧密的经济伙伴关系，肩负起应有的责任。
Shaping the world economy of this kind needs all G20 members to build a closer economic partnership, and to shoulder due responsibilities.

The G20 summit mechanism was set up at the height of the international financial crisis in 2008, demonstrating G20 members’ determination to put the global economy back on its feet. The G20 thus became the premier forum for international economic cooperation.

【6】中美要同有关各方一道推动二十国集团领导人杭州峰会取得积极成果，全力争取早日达成互利共赢的中美双边投资协定。
It is imperative that we work together with other parties concerned to ensure that the G20 Hangzhou Summit delivers positive outcomes to boost confidence and invigorate global growth. It is important that we do our best to conclude a mutually-beneficial bilateral investment treaty at the earliest possible date to foster a new highlight in business and trade cooperation.
The move toward multi-polarity, the increasing trend of globalization, and the quick application of information technologies have all been accompanied by growing challenges of various sorts, and have brought countries even closer than ever before. It is a time when ideas of zero-sum game and conflicts and confrontation must give way to common development and win-win cooperation. China and the US need to increase mutual trust.
我们要积极拓展两国互利合作。要秉持共赢理念，不断提高合作水平。当前要着力加强宏观经济政策协调，同有关各方一道推动二十国集团领导人杭州峰会取得积极成果，全力争取早日达成互利共赢的中美双边投资协定，深化两国在气候变化、发展、网络、防扩散、两军、执法等领域交流合作，加强双方在重大国际和地区以及全球性问题上的沟通和协调。
For China and the US, we need to maintain frequent communication and build up strategic mutual trust in order to avoid strategic misjudgment and prevent temporary problems from affecting our overall relations. China and the US need to expand mutually-beneficial cooperation. We need to embrace a win-win perspective and move our cooperation to a higher level. It is imperative that we increase macro-economic policy coordination and work together with other parties concerned to ensure that the G20 Hangzhou Summit delivers positive outcomes to boost confidence and invigorate global growth. It is important that we do our best to conclude a mutually-beneficial bilateral investment treaty at the earliest possible date to foster a new highlight in business and trade cooperation. And it is important that we deepen exchange and cooperation in climate change, development, cyber issues, counter-terrorism, non-proliferation, military-to-military relations and law enforcement, and step up communication and coordination on major international and regional issues as well as issues of global significance.
