- About DRANQ -

DRANQ是一位来自德国莱比锡的电子音乐制作人，近期在欧洲低音场景中快速升起的新星。

2019年他在德国著名低音厂牌Saturate Records发行了一系列EP及单曲，他标志性的硬件音色和富含Hip Hop影响的律动收到了圈内的广泛关注和支持。

今年8月，他在Ran Music的低音子厂牌Ran Rad旗下发行了他的12"EP 《Serpentine》，并在11月底开始了他的首次中国巡演，造访北京，西安，重庆，上海四城的场景。

DRANQ is an electronic music producer from Leipzig, Germany. He is a recent rising star in Europe’s bass music scene, a series EP and single releases of his on Germany’s famous bass music label Saturate Records in 2019, has popularized and drew people’s attention to his unique hardware sound and Hip Hop influenced beat rythms. 

In August 2019, he release a 12” EP Serpentine on Ran Music’s bass sub-label Ran Rad, and is embarking on his first China tour at the end of November, visiting the scenes in Beijing, Xian, Chongqing and Shanghai.

燃音乐是一家总部位于中国北京的唱片公司，致力于电子音乐的推广，并为来自中国的新兴人才服务。自Ran成立以来，已为30多位艺术家和演艺人员发行了音乐，其中包括Soulspeak、HWA（又名ELVIS.T）、Mickey Zhang等几位中国电子音乐先驱。燃音乐正努力发展成为中国最受认可和尊敬的独立唱片公司之一。

Ran Rad由现居德国莱比锡的国内低音场景前辈JCC发起并担任主理人，根足于国内和欧洲欣欣向荣的 Bass 音乐场景，致力于发掘跨越各类风格的有趣而又另类的低音声线，特别是来自模拟硬件的声音。和 Ran Music 主旨一致，我们希望通过唱片发行，为欧洲和国内的地下电子音乐场景建立桥梁。

Ran Music is a record label based in Beijing, China.The label is dedicated to the promotion of electronic music and for rising talents coming out of China. Since Ran first began, more than 30 artists and performing acts have released music on the label, including several Chinese electronic music pioneers such as Soulspeak, HWA (aka ELVIS.T), Mickey Zhang and more.Initiated in Leipzig Germany, Ran Rad is a new member of the Beijing-based label Ran Music. Currently based in Germany and China, Ran Rad aims to support Ran’s mission of bridging the underground scene from China and beyond. Ran Rad seeks for interesting sounds covering a diversity of genres, when those from hardware gears are particularly embraced. Bass music, however, is totally Ran Rad’s greatest interest.

极客怪才，DIY模块合成器

这位90后制作人同时也是一位充满极客精神的怪才，他使用完全自己设计和制造的模块合成器系统制作音乐和进行现场演出，让他的Bass音乐充满了即兴的变化和随心所欲的控制。

在成长过程中，DRANQ对90年代后期英国的俱乐部音乐异常着迷，这些早期的影响包括Jungle，Hip Hop 和Hardcore音乐，这些不同风格的音乐所产生的碰撞、影响，最终融合发展成为了富含低音并尤其吸引音乐呆子们的Bass Music。他随后开始加入乐队，并深入探索实验性的Hardcore音乐。

2007年左右，DRANQ开始对 Dubstep 产生浓厚兴趣，并重拾起了对Hip Hop, Beats和各种Half-time舞曲的热情。他开始在生活的城市不莱梅探索当地的舞曲场景，与其他当地派对一道组织活动，在乐队之外用不同的化名来尝试制作Breakcore和其他融合风格的另类舞曲。

This young producer is also a geek with DIY attitude, he produces music and plays live with his custom designed and built modular synth systems, which enables his bass music more freedom for controlling and evolving. 

Early influences of Jungle, Hip Hop and Hardcore merged into bass heavy gangster music for nerds. After growing up fascinated by recordings of late 90s UK club music, playing in bands and diving into the realms of experimental Hardcore, DRANQ got involved with Dubstep around 2007 and quickly rediscovered a long lost love for Hip Hop, beats and everything halftime. Putting together events and connecting with the local scene in Bremen manifested his interest in Breakcore and other 'off genres' and lead to first attempts in writing music outside of a band setting using a variety of aliases along the way.

另类低音舞曲，打破声音边界

DRANQ进一步开始对声音产生痴迷。在过去的两年中，他搬到了莱比锡，全身心地投入音乐创作，他坚持DIY的态度，将对那些奇怪的硬件的热情和自制的模块化合成器声音转化成了低音作品。

DRANQ的音乐将复古霹雳舞曲的质感与现代试验性的节拍相结合，他期望这些持续性探索和尝试，可以在这个笔记本电脑泛滥的时代，打破悦音与怪声的界限，将不稳定的磁带声音赋予无边界的可能性！

Fast forward a bit and DRANQ's further musical development turned into a full on obsession with sound. Now residing in Leipzig he spent the last two years working on a body of music full time, bringing it all together with a DIY attitude, enthusiasm for weird hardware and a self made modular synth.

DRANQ's music is combining the feel of old breakdance records with a modern approach to experimental beats. An ongoing attempt to break ground between catchy and odd, wonky tape sound and the open ended possibilities of the laptop era.

纽约出生长大的Shannon一直对音乐有着狂热的喜爱，断点的节拍，强劲的贝斯和吸引人的高帽子。她的混音追求能创造出融合嘻哈音乐，泽西俱乐部，House和原始音乐和Baile Funk，Dembow的音乐为一体的混音。

Shannon是重庆新潮先锋的联名创始人，同样也是地下嘻哈音乐奶油俱乐部的联合创始人。奶油俱乐部已经预定了很多艺术家，DJ正在努力延展音乐，像制作人BBC和DJ DiDi Han。Shannon曾和Harikiri，The Boring Room和Slim Doctor一起演出过。

她同时也是Sound Check Crew的成立成员之一。Shannon和A1,Just10和Tronik每个月的Sound Check派对，把新的陷阱音乐的浪潮和嘻哈音乐带到了重庆的大街小巷。

New York City born and bred, Shannon has always been a fan of music with off kilter beats, strong bass and catchy high-hats. Her mixing strives to create soundscapes that blend elements of hip-hop, jersey club, house and the primitive and African sounds of Baile Funk and Dembow all in one. She's one of the Co-Founders of Cream Club and Sound Check. Shannon has been moving dancefloors around China with stops in Xian, Inner Mongolia, Chengdu and Beijing.
