球门球 | goal kick | ||
A goal kick is given when an attacker sends the ball out of play over the goal line. The goal kick is taken inside the six yard box. |
点球 | penalty | ||
A penalty is a direct free kick inside the penalty area. The ball is placed on the penalty spot. |
重新开球 | restart | ||
There is a restart after there has been a stoppage in the game. |
罚下 | sending-off | ||
A sending-off is when the referee shows a player a red card. He has to leave the field of play. |
换人 | substitution | ||
A substitution is when one player replaces another on the pitch. In most matches, teams can make three substitutions. |
界外球 | throw-in | ||
A throw-in is given when the ball goes out of play over the touchline A player throws the ball onto the pitch from behind the touchline. |
受伤 | injury | ||
An injury is when a player is hurt and needs medical attention. Play stops while the physio attends to the injury. |
黄牌警告 | booking | ||
A booking is when a player is cautioned. The referee writes the player’s name in his notebook. |
角球 | corner kick | ||
A corner kick (often simply ‘corner’) is given when the defending team sends the ball over the goal line. The corner is taken from the corner flag. |
任意球 | free kick | ||
A free kick is used to restart play. It can be direct or indirect. |
