Visiting an old friend 拜访老朋友
Peter's family are going to visit Ken's family in another town. 彼得一家打算去另一个城市拜访肯一家。
Peter's father is talking about them. 彼得的爸爸在讨论他们。

My friend kevin is a farmer. He has two boys and one girl. 我的朋友凯文是一个农夫。他有两个儿子和一个女儿。
His little boy is called Ken. 他的小儿子叫肯。
He's eleven years old. He likes singing. 他十一岁了。他喜欢唱歌。
Ken's mother is a worker in a milk factory. 肯的妈妈是牛奶厂的工人。
She likes reading. 她喜欢读书。
Ken's brother is a fisherman. He likes fishing. 肯的哥哥是渔民。他喜欢钓鱼。
His sister is a police officer. 他的姐姐是警察。
She like doing kung fu. She's really cool. 她喜欢练功夫。她很酷。
Ken's aunt teaches football. 肯的阿姨教足球。
She likes watching football matches, too. 她还喜欢看足球比赛。
His uncle is a postman, he likes going hiking every week. 他的叔叔是邮递员，他喜欢每周徒步旅行。
At Ken's house, his father tells a story. 在肯的家，他的爸爸讲了一个故事。
One day, a rich old businessman in a small town meets a factory worker, a coach and a fisherman. 有一天，一个有钱的老商人在小镇遇到一个工人、一个教练和一个渔夫。
He gives them three seeds and says, "Bring me the flowers in three months. 他给了他们三粒种子并说：“三个月内把花带来。
The man with the most beautiful flower can have my money!" 谁的花最美谁就能得到我的钱！”
After three months, the factory worker brings a big red flower. 三个月之后，工人带来一朵红花。
The coach brings a small purple flower. 教练带来一朵小的紫花。
But the poor fisherman brings nothing. He is very sad. 穷渔夫什么都没带。他很伤心。
"I don't know why!" he says. "I watered it every day." “我不知道为什么！”他说：“我每天都浇水。”
"You are honest!" the businessman says. “你很诚实！”商人说。
"The seeds are bad and will never sprout! The money is yours." “种子是坏的，永远不会发芽！钱是你的了。”
The fisherman is very happy. 渔夫很开心。
The other two men feel ashamed and sad. 另外两人觉得很惭愧，而且很伤心。
