More than a singer competition for international student
On March 26th, The 1st USTB International Student Singer Competition was held in the multi-function hall of International Student Center. Nine candidates presented their excellent musical gifts with vitality and energy.
The first candidate lighted up the audiences with a Chinese song I'm a little bird. Later, a English Zombie presented the free style of our youth. Next, Pakistan candidate sang a song from his own country, which brought the spectators into an exotic atmosphere. In addition, another Chinese song Where's time gone? presented by a Bangladesh student also touched the listeners with its special rhythm.
After the show, judges gave comments and scores to their performance. Finally the championship was won by the Chinese song Where's time gone?
As cultural activities carried out on campus, the sense of identity and belonging of international students was enhanced. On the other hand, these activities also enriched their life and left international students a good impression of university culture.
Now that we have talked about music presented by foreigners, today I'm going to introduce more songs performed by our international friends.
