全军装备工作会议10月25日至26日在京召开。中共中央总书记、国家主席、中央军委主席习近平作出重要指示。习近平强调，全面开创武器装备建设新局面，为实现建军一百年奋斗目标作出积极贡献。

President Xi Jinping has urged efforts to break new ground in the development of the country's military weaponry and equipment, and contribute to the realization of the goals set for the centenary of the People's Liberation Army (PLA). Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission (CMC), made the remarks at a military-wide conference on weaponry and equipment-related work, which was held on Oct 25 and 26.

当前，新一轮科技革命、产业革命、军事革命正快速演进，现代战争信息化程度不断提高、智能化特征日益显现，为推进武器装备现代化提供了难得机遇，也提出了更高要求。面对时代之变、战争之变、对手之变、科技之变，我们只有坚定决心意志，增强紧迫意识，埋头苦干实干，加紧构建武器装备现代化管理体系，才能全面开创武器装备建设新局面，为实现建军一百年奋斗目标作出积极贡献。

重要讲话

“十三五”时期，我军武器装备建设实现跨越式发展、取得历史性成就，为提升国家战略能力特别是军事实力提供了坚实物质技术支撑。希望同志们加紧推进“十四五”规划任务落实，加紧构建武器装备现代化管理体系。

Historic achievements have been made in weaponry and equipment development over the past five years, and such progress has served as the material and technological underpinning for the country's strategic capabilities, military strength in particular. Efforts should be made to accelerate the implementation of tasks for the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025) and advance the building of a modernized management system for weaponry and equipment.
