在香港第五波疫情的“猛攻”之下,香港的隐形传播链越来越多,小编注意到有不少市民几乎足不出户也不幸染疫。
那么,如果发现自己感染新冠病毒,我们该怎么调整心态积极面对呢?
《中国日报香港版》推出《抗疫日记》系列报道,为大家分享香港的一线新闻工作者们自身和病毒“斗争”的故事。
第一篇日记来自同事A,为大家分享Ta在染疫期间如何保持乐观,积极面对。
抗疫日记,3月7日
第五波新冠疫情正席卷香港,特区政府努力遏制疫情的发展,协调患者入院并尽量减少死亡案例。截至周日,已有近五十万香港市民在第五波疫情中感染,逾1700人死亡。卫健专家一致认为,香港这波疫情不会很快见到“隧道尽头的曙光”。
但事实上,每天的确诊数据仅是政府设立的检测点的检测结果,染疫人数可能比实际情况还要高得多。还有很多人使用快速抗原检测盒,自我检测呈阳性却没有向政府报备。

3月2日,办公室爆发感染群组,终于被病毒抓住了“可乘之机”,我和几位同事当天快测结果均呈阳性。或许是因为我对奥密克戎的“肆虐”已做好心理准备,接受超出自己控制范围的事情,看着试纸上的两条线,我反而异常冷静和镇定。
And it did on March 2, leaving in its wake an office cluster of a handful of co-workers, myself included, all self-tested positive with rapid test kits. Looking at the test readout, I was surreally calm and collected, perhaps as the result of having prepared myself psychologically to accept what is beyond my control since Omicron befell the city three weeks ago.

但冷静归冷静,我还是花了快一个小时考虑下一步该怎么做。由于香港的医疗系统目前已经严重超负荷,自测阳性的线上申报平台也尚未启用,在家自我隔离似乎是目前最可行、最负责的方案了。
到3月7日,我已经在家隔离6天,期间只出现了喉咙痕痒和睡前咳嗽这些病症,整体感觉还不错。
鉴于目前还没有治愈新冠病毒的灵丹妙药,在朋友和同事的诚意推荐下,我囤了各种中西药,也包括近期热卖的连花清瘟胶囊。但若要我推荐一剂更好的“良药”,我的答案是保持适度乐观。
In the absence of a miraculous cure for the virus, I have in stock a variety of Western and Chinese medicines, including the hot selling Lianhua Qingwen capsules, as recommended by friends and colleagues in a gesture of care and friendship to which I am most grateful. But I think I have a better prescription that has worked well so far -- a healthy dose of optimism.
有科学证据表明,乐观的心态可以增强免疫系统,此时也能鼓舞人们的抗疫“士气”。当下全球还没有治愈新冠病毒的可靠途径,强化的免疫系统可能是抵御病毒的最佳屏障。
我已接种三针疫苗,也没有潜在疾病,有充分理由保持乐观,相信自己能渡过难关。而重症或死亡人群中,大多都因各种原因没有接种疫苗。

我的乐观还有另一个“底气”,中央和内地大力支持香港抗击疫情,疫情很有可能得到尽早控制。目前,内地援港修建的临时医院、隔离和治疗设施正紧锣密鼓地施工中,大量的医疗和生活用品也已陆续抵港。
My optimism is also well founded on the fact that the pandemic situation has good chances to be brought under control sooner rather than later with the mainland racing to assist Hong Kong in battling the outbreak. With the tremendous support from across the border, temporary hospitals, isolation and treatment facilities are being put up at breathtaking pace. Huge amounts of medical and livelihood supplies are pouring in.

尽管我的病情在不断好转,但病毒对日后的影响还是未知。但只要一想到内地14亿同胞对香港抗疫的支持,我内心便能感到一丝宽慰和安心。
Despite my condition having signs of improvement, there is always the possibility that the vagaries of the virus can make things harder and unpredictable for me in the coming days. But the thought of having 1.4 billion people on the mainland standing ready to lend a helping hand gives me soothing comfort and a sense of added security.
或许,我就是一个心态乐观的人,总能在逆境中捕捉正能量。家居隔离的好处之一,便是可以锻炼我日渐生疏的厨艺。一顿家常便饭,也有助于我保持良好的精神状态,这对隔离的人来说至关重要。
Perhaps, I am a glass half-full type of person after all, hardwired to see the upside in a downside situation. One of the pros of home confinement is that I get to hone my cooking skills, which are getting rusty by the day. A home-cooked dinner, which is becoming a rarity nowadays, helps to keep me in good spirits, which are critical for people in quarantine.
同时,我也在继续工作,和同事、朋友保持联络。保持适度工作能很好转移人的注意力,从而避免在家隔离引起的焦虑和压力。
我的抗疫经历听上去似乎很“轻松”,也没有危及生命的症状,但奥密克戎留下的后遗症因人而异,且对我来说还是未知数。希望大家都能身体健康,不给新冠病毒“可乘之机”。
I may sound pretty relaxed and the symptoms don’t seem life-threatening. But all illness invariably does some sort of damage, which can vary greatly for different people. So I wish all readers stay away from COVID and stay healthy.
