Hello，大家好！欢迎来到“新概念英语的教与学”！我是上海时学教育的张老师。下面是我们每周一课一题一语法的分享时间，先来公布上一期课后一题的答案。

下面我们继续本周《新概念英语2》第35课的重点句型或语法的分享。先来读一读课文：
一、课文原文
Lesson 35 Stop thief !
Roy Trenton used to drive a taxi. A short while ago, however, he became a bus driver and he has not regretted it. He is finding his new work far more exciting. When he was driving along Catford Street recently, he saw two thieves rush out of a shop and run towards a waiting car. One of them was carrying a bag full of money. Roy acted quickly and drove the bus straight at the thieves. The one with the money got such a fright that he dropped the bag. As the thieves were trying to get away in their car, Roy drove his bus into the back of it. While the battered car was moving away, Roy stopped his bus and telephoned the police. The thieves' car was badly damaged and easy to recognize. Shortly afterwards, the police stopped the car and both men were arrested.

二、重点句型或语法
本课主要复习第26-34课所学的重要句型和语法，包括：一般现在时、一般过去时、现在完成时、冠词和不定代词、used to do、含不定式的被动语态等。如：
These things always happen.
What happened?
What has happened?
He used to work fourteen hours as day.
He was asked to call at the station.
对比be used to doing "现在习惯"，be used to do "被用来做"和used to do"过去习惯"的区别，
例如：Roy Trenton used to drive a taxi.
本课是记叙文，在事件的先后铺垫和承接上，使用了不同的时间状语的表达方式。
如：a short while ago 表示在前不久，相当于 a moment ago.
A short while ago, however, he became a bus driver and he has not regretted it.
如：When he was driving along Catford Street recently, he saw two thieves rush out of a shop and run towards a waiting car.
这里的when可以用while来替换。通常while所在的句子谓语动词用进行时，这点需要注意了。
又如：as 表示 “当......时候”，相当于while
As the thieves were trying to get away in their car, Roy drove his bus into the back of it.
还有：shortly afterwards 表示不久之后
Shortly afterwards, the police stopped the car and both men were arrested.
