一期课程回顾暨二期学员招募
[Brief intro]
This is the revolution which brings us greenfood, environmental building and healthy lifestyle.
Our goal is to build an ecologicalfarm, not large but super natural, based on developing natural farmingeducation, environmental buildings, andDIYs.
We are going to build our farm asyour garden, through the idea of “beinghappy”, includingroads, houses and homes for animals. Also, we will have classes about ecological farming and natural building.
We hope to make 原宿 a healthy, ecological, fun, beautiful, garden lookingfarm, by constantly persisting in our ideas, and designs.
原宿 doesn’t encourage petroleum madeproducts, such as cleaning products,instead, we prefer using enzymes to do the job in order to reduce the pollutionof soil and ground water. Meanwhile, we follow the natural farming process,with no pesticide, no chemical fertilizer, no turning up soil, and no weeding.We wish to protect and revive the soil and wild species, to build biodiversity,which respects the nature.
原宿has theidea of “Nothing isuseless, at least useful to me”.To achieve this goal, we are planning to build rain water collectors, wastewater recycling system, composting system, ecological composting WC, and wasterecycling designing centre, which mayends with a “zero waste”farm.
原宿tries touse local, natural, recycled, obsolete, and cheap materials to build the farm, hope to payefforts in discovering cheap but useful ways in running the ecological farm.
[Introduction]
This period of classes will continue the last period to construct asmall natural building which is about 20m2 and will be used as ateahouse or a reading room, including a 15m2 teahouse, a small roomand a mini bar. For the inner part, we have designed a rocket heater, a dirtmade sofa, a book shelf and other furniture made by natural materials. Theultimate goal of this building is to rely on itself, by using rain watercollector and solar panel to provide electricity and water.
This time we will teach all the classes inEnglish, welcome to people who speaks well.

Frederik, whose major is naturalbuilding and sustainability application, will be responsible for the designingpart of this natural building. For what he believes, people should live in abalance of nature, and houses ought to be an affordable, healthy, andecological system. He has worked in many countries, such as UK, Belgium,Canada, US, Namibia, New Zealand, India, Korean, and China. He loves thefeeling of being an architect and wishes to work for the development andapplication of natural building.
[About the class]
Our goal is: Natural roof, inner designing,furniture making, rocket heater, cob floor(may be adjusted through the changingof weather)
As the classes will mainly focused onpractice, at the time when the weather is too bad for outdoor activities and atnight, we will arrange some discussion or classes about natural building andstudents may share their now experiences or knowledge.

Fee: 2000RMB(including tuition fees,materials, and transportation during the classes, but not food andaccommodation)
Food and accommodation: 50RMB per person perday, 650RMB total

1、We don’t encourage students to usedisposable products or plastic products, but recycle products instead.
2、Farm doesn’t afford disposable productssuch as tissue, toilet paper, etc. If you have to use them, please put theminto certain places provided by the farm after used.
3、Pleaseavoid using plastic bags/bottles, if cannot, don’t through them away but putinto certain places provided by the farm after cleaning them.
4、Pleasethrough daily wastes such as waste paper or cigarette butt at the placeinstructed by the farm.
5、Duringthe workshop(including the minute before you leave), students have to take careof themselves, to ensure the cleanness of both the public area and personalarea. Students have to follow the instruction of the farm in using toolsprovided.
Tips:
1. Food and accommodation
food：mainly vegetables。
accommodation：
1）portabledwellings： 3-4 people per room， Ecological WC outside， solar panel water heater。
2）villagerhouses nearby： 4 people per room， simple furniture， WC with Flush toilet+ WC outside、 solar panelwater heater。
3）campingyoucan take camping equipment if you want(camp, moisture-proof pad, and sleepingbag)
2. We offer simple bed, sheet, pillow, and quilt. Youcan take sleeping bag as you like.
3. Take rain coat, clothes, shoes, toiletries, andalso special medicine if you need.
4. Normally 5-20℃, but huge temperature gap betweennight and morning, so take coat with you.
5. safety problems
1）You must be healthy, no infectious disease or related medical history.Students take whole responsibility of themselves.
2）Toensure the safety, students must follow the arrangement of the farm and thesupervisors, must not leave individually.
