【News】Stage 1 Screening Test for 4th Physiology Trivia

    Human physiology has always fascinated the human kind. Every being is intrigued when it comes to knowing about one’s bodily functions. Keeping this in mind, IMSA organized the annual physiology trivia to test the knowledge of Homo sapiens about oneself, more in a scientific than a philosophical way. 

    The 4th edition of IMSA’s Physiological Trivia was held on 3rd December,2017 at the school of pharmacy where the neurological-signals of the candidates competed over a span of 2 hours.The enthusiasm and dedication of the participants amazed the members of the International Medical Students Association. Even freshmen, for whom the set questions were out of the box, gathered the courage to participate in the test and showed amazing results. 

Talking to some of the students, it was revealed that clearing Stage 1 was no kid’s play. The organizers constantly encouraged everyone present. It was a test of one’s knowledge and memory, as physiology ,at last gained control over the nerves which stimulates the flow of knowledge  as well as the rush of competition, making this year more challenging.

Stage 2 of the same is scheduled to be held next semester, and the participants have to work as hard.

     By the end of this round, we would have 5 finalists who would be termed as “Famous Five”. As said, “You must earn credibility, not expect it” and so although the path has already been laid, the journey ahead for the best 5 as well as those who paved their way into round 2 has just commenced.
