Conference Theme Tackling the New Challenges in Automation and Computing

      ICAC'16 将于2016年9月7-8日在英国 University of Essex 召开。 这所大学坐落于英国科尔切斯特，距离伦敦约90公里，是英国历史记载中最古老的城镇和第一个首都。     本次会议的组织单位 The Chinese Automation and Computing Society in the UK (CACSUK)，同时也是 International Journal of Automation and Computing (IJAC) 的主办单位之一。来自University of Essex 的Huosheng Hu 教授（IJAC主编之一）担任本次会议名誉主席。大会设置了由 ICAC'16 和 IJAC 共同赞助的 “Best Student Paper Award“。会议论文将被EI收录。      CACSUK与IJAC欢迎您投稿，并参会！在这座风景如画的城市里，您将有更多机会与和来自英国自动化与计算领域的专家增进交流。

AIMS

The aims of the conference are to provide a forum for scientists, engineers, scholars and students to exchange ideas and update technical knowledge, as well as to provide a platform where joint research programmes can be formulated for mutual benefit. The conference welcomes participations and contributions from those involved in both theoretical research and practical applications of all aspects of automation and computer science. In addition to parallel technical sessions, there will be plenary sessions.

SCOPES

The scope of the conference covers a broad spectrum of areas with multi-disciplinary interests in the fields of automation, control engineering, computing and information systems, ranging from fundamental research to real-world applications. SUBMISSIONS

Papers should describe the original work with focused details. It should be no more than 6 pages (A4 paper) with IEEE conference paper format. The up-to-date conference details and the paper template for ICAC’16 are available on the conference web site. The first page of each paper should include the title of the paper, an abstract with no more than 200 words, up to 5 key words, author's name(s), complete mailing addresses, and email address for correspondence. Electronic form of submission, in Word or PDF, is acceptable and preferred. With the technical co-sponsorship of IEEE UK & Ireland Control Systems Society, all the accepted conference papers will be held in IEEE Xplore so EI indexed. BEST STUDENT PAPERS

Papers with the first author being PhD students are eligible for Best Student Paper Awards. The authors shall clearly indicate whether their papers are qualified for the awards in submission. The best papers will be assessed by a panel based on academic significance and presentation performance, and award certificates will be presented to the authors in the closing ceremony.
