日前,Tom Ford联手美妆巨头雅诗兰黛集团推出全新高端护肤系列——Tom Ford Research。据悉,新系列将于8月份在美国地区及Saks Fifth Avenue首发,并于9月份面向国际市场发售。
新系列的两款主打产品含有咖啡因和日本绿茶gyokuro等特色成分,一款是面部精华,售价350美元;另一款是精华面霜,售价450美元。
Tom Ford表示,希望能够打造一个以科学护肤为理念的护肤系列,为消费者提供好的护肤产品和护肤方案。
Tom Ford同名品牌于2005年创立,从男装业务起步,发展到拥有完整的男装、女装、配饰、眼镜、手表、彩妆等系列。
品牌在2006年与雅诗兰黛合作开发美妆业务——Tom Ford Beauty,创立之初以香氛产品为主,随后在2011年推出了彩妆系列。这次进军护肤领域对品牌来说也是一个新的里程碑。
Tom Ford launch a high-end skincare line with the cosmetics giant. Dubbed Tom Ford Research, the line will be rolled out in August at Saks Fifth Avenue and Tom Ford in the US, before going on sale internationally in September, reports WWD.
The skincare will make its debut with a ‘Serum Concentrate’ priced at $350 and a ‘Crème Concentrate’ priced at $450. Both products feature caffeine and a Japanese green tea called gyokuro, and a further trio of products is slated for release next March.
“I wanted to start a serious skin-care arm and have it be science-based,” Ford told WWD. “This is a real skin-care product and regimen. I’m not a designer who has thrown his name on a beautifully packaged cream.”
Tom Ford Beauty was born as a fragrance line in 2006, before the brand introduced color cosmetics in 2011.
The move marks the latest major milestone for the designer, who remains president and CEO of the beauty brand, following his appointment as the new chairman of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) in June.
Manolo Blahnik buys Italian manufacturing firm

日前,英国奢侈鞋履品牌Manolo Blahnik收购了长期合作的意大利女鞋制造商Calzaturificio Re Marcello,但交易详情暂未公布。
Manolo Blahnik的CEO表示,此次交易使Calzaturificio Re Marcello成为品牌首家工作室和生产基地,不仅为品牌带来精湛的工艺,也更好的激发品牌创造力和增强品牌运营的灵活性。
设计师Manolo Blahnik也表示,工厂里77位经验丰富的手工艺人也将加入品牌团队,为品牌培养更多优秀的手工艺人才。
Calzaturificio Re Marcello由Re家族在1938年创立,自1990年起与Manolo Blahnik合作,为其制造鞋履。
根据收购协议, Calzaturificio Re Marcello现阶段由Bruno Re和Giuse Galazzi领导的管理团队将会继续留在公司,与品牌团队一起管理工厂。
Luxury shoe brand Manolo Blahnik has acquired Italy’s Calzaturificio Re Marcello, the women’s footwear manufacturer contracted to produce the firm’s footwear. Terms of the takeover deal were not disclosed.
“Calzaturificio Re Marcello is synonymous with craftsmanship of exceptional quality in our industry and we are delighted to have been able to bring such a valued partner into the family,” said Manolo Blahnik CEO, Kristina Blahnik.
“This acquisition will be our first atelier and manufacturing facility, creating greater creative and operational flexibility for the future of our business,” she continued.
The Spanish-born designer Manolo Blahnik told media that the factory acquisition will see the Italian firm’s “77 highly-skilled craftsmen” join the Manolo Blahnik group, which “will strengthen [our] vision for developing artisanal talent and nurture the art of shoe-making for future generations.”
Founded in 1938 by the Re family, the Calzaturificio Re Marcello factory is in Vigevano, Pavia. It has been making shoes for Manolo Blahnik for close to thirty years kicking off operational connections in 1990.
With the deal, Calzaturificio Re Marcello’s current management team — made up of scion, Bruno Re, and Giuse Galazzi — will stay on “for the foreseeable future,” working alongside Blahnik’s management team “to ensure continuity,” added the designer.

Luxury Italian shoemaker Roger Vivier has recently appointed Maria Cristina Lomanto as new CEO. Lomanto previously worked for the Prada group, which she joined in 2006 to work on the merchandising of Prada’s accessories collections.
She was then promoted to the post of marketing director for Prada’s leather accessories, and in 2012 took charge of retail operations at Prada France. The following year Lomanto took on the same role at Miu Miu, and in 2015 she became the general manager of the Italian luxury group’s young label.
A law graduate from the University of Milan, Lomanto has worked for 20 years in the luxury industry. Before joining the Prada group, she notably worked for Jil Sander and for Yves Saint Laurent, where she was the commercial director for Italy and Switzerland.
Roger Vivier is busy restructuring, following the appointment of Gherardo Felloni as creative director last year. Felloni took over from Bruno Frisoni, whose stint as head of creativity lasted for nearly 16 years.
In 2018, sales for Roger Vivier dropped 3.2% (-0.2% at constant exchange rates) to €173.5 million, but the label posted a strong recovery in the first quarter 2019, with a revenue of €43.9 million, up 16.2% compared to the same period a year ago.
Saks Fifth Avenue opens largest luxury men’s shoe destinations in the U.S.

全新改造的奢侈男士鞋履区位于商场的六层,面积约8,000平方英尺(约合743.2平方米),有超过60个奢侈品牌,其中有15个是首次进入Saks Fifth Avenue。
整个男士鞋履区有超过2,000个SKU以及160个特别款鞋履,种类涵盖sneaker、休闲鞋履、定制礼服鞋、靴子等。品牌包括Balenciaga,Brunello Cucinelli,Burberry,Celine,Common Projects,Dior,Off-White等。
为了提升消费者的购物体验,商场还特别提供鞋履修护、大码鞋款、30名多语言鞋履挑款师以及个性化定制服务。
据行业研究数据显示,男士服饰的销量在持续上升;Euromonitor公布的数据也进一步印证了这一观点,自2016年起,男士服饰的销售增长高于女士服饰。预计到2021年,男士服饰销售增长将达1.9%,女士服饰为1.4%。

Located on the sixth floor, the new men’s shoe space covers a whopping 8,000 square-feet, and has opened with over 60 luxury brands, 15 of which are new to Saks.
The area includes over 2,000 SKUs and 160 exclusive styles, encompassing sneakers, casual footwear, made-to-measure dress shoes, boots and more.
Featured brands include Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Brunello Cucinelli, Burberry, Celine, Common Projects, Dior, Fendi, Givenchy, Gucci, John Lobb and Off-White, among others.
Adding to Saks’ vision of an elevated footwear shopping experience, the space also offers shoe repair stations, extended sizing, 30 multilingual men’s shoe ‘style advisors,’ and merchandise personalization.
The expansion comes as menswear sales continue grow, according to industry research. Sales growth for menswear has consistently outpaced womenswear since 2016, according to Euromonitor.
That trend is set to continue, with men’s clothing sales predicted to grow 1.9% in 2021, versus a prediction of 1.4% for women’s.

恒隆地产旗下山顶广场的优化改造工程目前已经接近尾声,很快将以一个全新的面貌和商户组合来迎接顾客。
恒隆地产自2012年起开始推进旗下香港核心业务的资产优化计划。其中备受关注的山顶广场项目在经过两年多的调整后,将进一步巩固其作为香港标志性地标的地位。
山顶广场的改造计划中,最引人关注的要数如宝石般耀眼的弧形入口。巨型玻璃幕墙的设计不仅为建筑整体增添了现代艺术感,同时也可以更好的利用自然光,让消费者在商场里能够感受到大自然,体验四季的变化。

The main entrance of Peak Galleria has been reimagined in a giant gem-like glass façade, which opens into a mall bustling with a new curation of local and international brands, many of which are making their Hong Kong debut at the shining new landmark. In 2012, Hang Lung began a series of asset enhancement projects for its core properties in Hong Kong. More than two years’ in the making, the highly anticipated remodeling of Peak Galleria will build further on its long-established position as one of the territory’s much-loved landmark.
Among the many exciting new features of the renovated design, the most eye-catching visual has to be the gleaming new, gem-like, curved exterior of the main entrance.
The all-glass curtain wall design is not only modernist but also serves to conduct natural light into the atrium, enabling visitors to connect with the natural surroundings and experience the changing seasons in their dynamic fullness.
In addition to the new design, the reinvigorated Peak Galleria will be the ideal place for personalized experiences and festive celebrations, providing customers with one-stop shopping, dining, and entertainment elements.
In terms of tenant mix, and in order to meet the shopping needs of different demographics, Peak Galleria is introducing more than 60 new merchants, including the famous British restaurant, Bread Street Kitchen & Bar by Gordon Ramsay, and Rajasthan Rifles, managed by head chef of the Michelin starred New Punjab Club. Some new merchants will open in this summer, including the world’s first Monopoly-themed pavilion, Monopoly Dreams.
