The Dulwich Student Press is a student - led initiative for high school students  interested in Chinese language and writing to support their passion.  Students meet weekly to discuss current affairs and practice critical thinking skills. The members of the Dulwich Student Press are invited to share their  views  in the High School Current Affairs newspaper and the Dulwich Student Paper published every month in Mandarin. They also work with the Beijing Youth Daily and the Beijing Student Press and have had several articles successfully published. Most recently the students were challenged to  work on Chinese poems. 春

当繁花似锦

当鸟唱蝉鸣

那枝叶下玩耍的孩童在笑

那溪水里嬉戏的鱼儿在闹

你问这春里何为欢乐

我答那遍布的勃勃生机

便是圆梦之欢乐

夏

当骄阳窜进每一条街巷

每一块板砖每一条裂缝

石板路要融化

高楼大厦要倒塌

那便是夏

炽热使言语变得夸张

使头脑变得不知所措

秋

当叶子落下

鸟儿没了去处

人们谈论着秋老虎

风刮走了夏的模样

冬

感知着我们心情的冬日精灵

是那雪花飘扬

冬日的寒冷比起人间温情

是那样不值一提
