Agili-C, created by CartiHeal, from Kfar Saba- founded by Nir Altschuler - focuses on regenerative medicine. Agili-C is made from aragonite, a specific structure derived from coral’s exoskeleton helps regenerate damaged cartilage and bone for individuals with joint injuries, particularly in cases of lesions on the surface of knee joints. Over 70 patients have been treated with the implant so far; "patients will be able to return to being fully active and to a painless life.”.

S&P on Friday upgraded Israel’s credit rating to AA- from A+ with a stable outlook."Improvement in the Israeli fiscal policy. Israeli economy will grow by an average of 3.3% between 2018 and 2021. The main growth factors; private consumption, continued investment by corporations, and strong performance in the export of services. Upgrading the credit rating will save billions of shekels in funding expenses which will be directed to the health, education and welfare.

Israeli humanitarian aid organization IsraAID deployed an emergency team to western Japan Monday; 2 million people evacuated their homes during the rescue efforts. 95 reported fatalities and dozens are still missing. IsraAid will distribute urgent relief items, medical and post-trauma psycho-social needs. IsraAID staff is equipped to provide Psychological First Aid and mental health support for evacuees.
