张新刚

张新刚，北京大学法学博士，现任北京大学西方古典学中心、历史学系助理教授。著有《友爱、正义与共同体——柏拉图政治思想研究》（博士论文），在《世界哲学》、《史林》、《政治思想史》等期刊上发表论文多篇。教授“古希腊罗马史”、“古希腊罗马历史经典”、“希罗多德研读”、“古希腊罗马政治思想史”、“西方政治思想史”等多门课程，主要研究领域为西方古典伦理政治思想、西方古代史、政治哲学。

课程简介

 

本课为通识教育核心课程，将通过阅读经典文献和部分二手文献的方式从政治、历史、哲学、宗教等角度更为全面地理解和把握西方文明的发源。学生通过课程可掌握史学经典阅读和分析能力，学习阅读和使用二手文献，并对古希腊罗马史学传统有初步的理解。

第一周 导论：古代史学与古代史家
