To efficiently manage and adapt our production site in Guangdong Province, we are looking to recruit an ambitious entrepreneurial person with persuasiveness and assertiveness that should be
an expert in manufacturing process management, and

Trendsetting Consumer Goods
With a college degree in mechanical, electrical, manufacturing or process engineering preferably with an MBA, you will - in close collaboration with your direct reports - plan, organize, lead and control all production and plant related responsibilities including sourcing, warehousing and distribution. For this reason you must have a well-proven track record showing longstanding technical expertise and professional experience in one of the above disciplines and in a shop-floor management environment as well as industrial background in a position and a company of similar international business significance. To successfully qualify for the role you will need a thorough understanding of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement techniques and tactics. This will enable you to facilitate efficient, cost-effective and profitable operations, utilizing state-of-the-art automation to drive dramatic productivity increase.
If applicable, you will develop equipment capacity needs and capital expenditure plans in compliance with business demands and sales forecasts. You will possess strong communication skills, team-spirit and a hands-on attitude as well as the ability to train, motivate and manage subordinates across departmental boundaries to achieve specified goals and comply with production standards, policies, and procedures besides job safety and other legal regulations. With an eye toward optimal customer satisfaction, you will know how to identify and eliminate bottlenecks. You will also have a well-proven understanding of quality and quality systems in a comparable industrial environment where – preferably - injection molding is coupled with basic electronics. The capability of evaluating and possibly implementing subcontracting and/or outsourcing measures is taken for granted.
MS Office plus ERP literacy as well as fluent oral and written command of Mandarin, English and if possible - German will allow you to smoothly liaise with international colleagues and to report to the President at global headquarters in Germany. Our ideal candidate of German speaking/European or US-American origin and with longstanding operations management work experience will either already reside in China/Asia, or have had a 10+ years expatriate assignment in China/Asia with the desire to move back to the region, including an individual of Chinese/Asian origin living and working within an operations management environment in a Western nation for a long period of time, or working for a Western company in China/Asia, based on formal training and long-term operations management work experience in German speaking countries, Europe, or on the Western hemisphere in general.
