CAAC: We will continue strict suspension measures
According to Civil Aviation Administration of China, currently more than 230 international passenger flights are executed every week, which is only 2.15% of the quantity in 2019; nearly 3,700 international cargo flights are executed every week, which is 257.5% of 2019.
Since the implementation of suspension measures on June 2020, 302 international passenger flights with high risk of importing epidemic have been suspended. A total of 621 inbound flights have been reduced, and more than 2300 imported cases are expected to be avoided.
CAAC will continue to resolutely implement the strict flight suspension policies based on the epidemic situation abroad. CAAC will also continue to strictly implement the regulations that staff for international and domestic flights don’t work in same areas of airports.
