亲爱的嘉人们,

今天想和大家聊一聊“思考”这件事,善于思考是海嘉毕业生素养10A的其中之一,在信息过剩的时代,独立思考能力尤为重要。

 

海嘉毕业生素养


如这棵树的4R根基,幼儿园时期是为未来打好坚实根基的重要阶段,我们常常说儿童要在游戏里学习,因为游戏本身就是思辨的。为孩子提供选择是帮助儿童培养思考能力非常有效的方式,通过选择启发儿童最高层次思考,第六层评鉴之门。提问在儿童时期是一种常见的沟通方式,但我们做的是不直接给孩子结论。给孩子结论不见得不好,可是当结论太过迫切的时候,这个结论就失去了意义。最重要的就是在探究的过程中让孩子自己去思考,去收获,让孩子在你的问题下不断去分析,找出自己的答案,建构出自己的想法与知识。这便可以好好培养孩子的分析与创造力,是第四层分析及第五层综合的高层次思维。


无,为万物之始。所有的万物都是从无开始,而在思考时,“无”代表的就是让自己走向未知的领域,那个还没有被定位没有被命名的领域。通过你自己的探索发现,由你为它命名,为它定位。如果你是真正的思考者,你命名完就走了,你必须再继续出走,因为前面还有要再继续探索的东西。这样,你便可以不断去完善及创出更多新的知识。


如我们刚刚提到的几种方法,选择-如果是有原则的去做决定、不同原则有不同选择,便可以好好培养孩子的第六层评鉴思考能力。提问不同好问题促进孩子探究、分析、找出结论,从无到命名、定位,同样都是先分析后综合,创出自己的想法及心得,便可以好好培养孩子第四层分析和第五层综合的思考能力。再走、再探讨、再评,不断完善自己的想法、便是对一件事不断评鉴、分析与综合,在第四、五、六层不停去转,不断以各种高层次思考,不断自我学习新的东西。在家把这些慢慢变成生活习惯,便可以好好帮助及培养孩子成为更有智慧的人。

Dear BIBA Community,


Today I want to talk with you about thinking. Being a good thinker is one of the ten attributes (10A's) of BIBA graduates. In an era of information overload, the ability of independent thinking is especially important.


BIBA Graduate's Profile


Like the 4R foundation of this tree, the early years period is crucial for children to lay a solid foundation for the future. We often say that children should learn from games because games themselves are speculative. Providing choices for children is a very effective way to help them develop their thinking ability. Through choices, children can be inspired to think at the highest level, which is the sixth level thinking "evaluation". Questioning is a common way of communication in childhood, but what we do is not to give conclusions directly to children. It is not necessarily wrong to give them a conclusion, but when it is too quick, the conclusion loses its meaning. The most important thing for children is to think and gain in the process of inquiry. Let children analyze under your questions, find out their answers, construct their ideas and increase their knowledge. In this way, we can cultivate children's analytical ability and creativity. These are the fourth and fifth levels of higher-order thinking.


Nothing is the beginning of everything. All things start from nothing, and in thinking, "Nothing" means to move yourself to an unknown field, a field that has not been defined and named yet. This field was discovered under your exploration. You name it and define it. If you are a true thinker, you have to move on, because there is still more to be explored in front of you. In this way, you can continuously improve yourself and create more new knowledge.


As we just mentioned, if we choose to let children make decisions based on different principles with different choices, we can develop children's sixth level thinking ability, that is "evaluation". Please ask questions that encourage children to explore, analyze and find conclusions. In the process of discovering an unknown field to be named and defined, it also requires children to analyze and synthesize to create their own ideas and experiences, so that we can develop children's thinking ability that belongs to the fourth level of analytical thinking and the fifth level of synthesis thinking. Let your child(ren) explore and form ideas, and to analyze, synthesize and evaluate continually. In this way, they can make use of the fourth, fifth, and sixth levels of thinking mode to learn new things. By slowly turning this method into habits at home, you can help and develop your child into a more intelligent person.

At BIBA, both teachers and students have been learning continuously in the way of higher-order thinking shared by Dr. Pang. The six levels of higher-order thinking help us to develop our independent thinking ability more deeply.
