武汉流浪动物基地 领养区域 改造设计

Reconstruction design of Wuhan stray animal base adoption area

这个小型公益项目由麓湖A8设计中心联合亚洲动物基金、武汉市小动物协会共同发起。改造目的是用有限的公益捐赠打造一个环境友好的领养区域，使意向领养人和小狗之间能增进感情，从而提高领养成功率，这也是促进领养基地良性发展的办法。

Initiated by Luhu A8 Design Centre, with Animals Asia Foundation and Wuhan Small Animal Association, the small public welfare project aims to create an environmentally friendly adoption area with limited charitable donations, which will promote the relationship between intended adopters and their puppies, thereby increasing the success rate of adoption. It is also a method to stimulate the healthy development of adoption base.

建筑师给本次设计主题定义为“解救+回家”。设计梳理出“到达—见面—选择—签字—拍照—离开”的基本领养流程。在这个流程中，有两个非常关键的点。第一个是“认领”的“旋转门”：经过这个旋转门，被领养的小狗找到了温暖的家，成了“狗生赢家”。这个“狗生”的转变就体现在室内外跨越的那一刻，所以用“旋转门”这个比较有画面感和形象意义的设计来表达和突出这一刻。

The architect defined the theme as “rescuing and returning home”. The design establishes a basic adoption process of “arrival, meeting, choice, signature, taking photos and departure”, in which there are two key points. The first point is the revolving door to the adoption area, through which adopted puppies find a warm home and become “dog winners”. The change of their fates is reflected in the moment of stepping across the revolving door between indoor and outdoor space. Therefore the design of revolving door has an imagery sense and figurative significance to express and highlight the moment.

第二个是用于“拍照”的窗台，也就是领养人带着小狗拍照的位置，这强化了仪式感，也鼓励了后来的意向领养人：“看，前面的家庭多么幸福，我们也要找到自己的所爱啊！”旋转门的圆形映射在领养人的身后，使得领养人自带“伟大的光芒”。

The second point is the window sill for photographing, where adopters can take photos with their puppies. It doesn’t only reinforce the sense of ritual, but also encourages the following intended adopters: “Look, what a happy family they are, and we have to find the puppy that our love!” The roundness of the revolving door is regarded as a background of the adopter, bringing them with holy light of their own.

由于临建的性质和造价的限制，建筑师采用40mm×40mm的镀锌方钢管打造了一个“大笼子”，并用橙色阳光板把其四周围起来。大笼子采用2m×2m的小柱网单元，强化了结构的纤细和轻盈。笼子顶部用十字灯来强化一种仪式感。午后的阳光照射在建筑上，映射出一道充满魅力的彩虹。

Due to the nature of the temporary construction and the limited cost, the architect created a "large cage" outdoors with 40mm×40mm galvanized square steel pipes and enclosed the cage with orange polycarbonate panels. The small column grid unit of 2m×2m for the large cage highlights the slender and lightweight structure, while cross-shaped lights on the top of the cage give prominence to a sense of ritual. When the afternoon sunlight shines on the building, an appealing rainbow is reflected.
