Talent Management Officer

Role Description
Under direct supervision of HR manager, the Talent Management Officer contributes mainly to the career development with focus on individual career coaching and guidance, evolution and learning programs, and staff engagement.

Main Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Contribute to build capacity in career development, talent management and staff engagement.
Consolidate staff development needs/requirements and integrates career development practices and tools across the organisation.
Designs and implement tailor-made development initiatives to support individual growth of staff.
Conducts analysis of high-impact development programs and external best practice to integrate to the design of targeted career development programs; monitors and measures progress of candidates participating in such programs and evaluates impact and ROI.
Provide career development guidance, coach to individual staff. Guide staff towards concrete action plans for their individual development.
Be a focal point for all training in ICRC. Give advises about the training to the employees, maintain and monitors training data.
Survey and analyse training and development needs to create individual development plan for staff, align the training and development plan with the goal of the organisation, competencies, training needs and necessity perform their duties.
Advises staff about the exposure mission, support mission and change of status
Promotes the best practices in staff engagement and provide continuous support to line mangers, HR manager and Talent managers as they engage in career development conversations.
Support performance management activity, promote the exercises, align with the timeline, and provides technical support.
Foresee the succession plan to enhance talent management by creating a talent pipeline of successors that will keep the organisation running and activities continuity.
Reinforce staff engagement in terms of employee relation.

Desired Profile & Skills
Minimum bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, social sciences etc
Typically, 6-9 years' professional experiences, 3-5 operational or HR role which focus on talent management, career advisor or other related HR roles
Demonstrated ability to connect with and relate to people of diverse background
Preferred experience in designing and implementing talent management tool and process
Knowledge of talent management, internal mobility and career development and/or other HR processes as asset
Fluent command of English, French is an asset
Computer proficiency
