HOW+很荣幸的宣布，将于2022年10月29日起在HOW+项目空间展厅二呈现艺术家袁骁的首个美术馆个展“透·明”。
“透·明” 是艺术家袁骁在国内的首个个展，是对其艺术生涯“承上启下”的总结。艺术家用玻璃语言重塑了一个个经典形象，谱写过去平行时空中的另一种可能。袁骁的创作始于中国传统绘画，在创作技术上十分严谨，对于光影视觉的把控有着一套属于自己的物理逻辑。袁骁游走于不同国家，在不同城市街头创造的经历，让他从生活中提炼了自己对艺术的独到见解。在创作内容上，他不仅将传统技法与流行元素结合，还将对日常生活的洞悉与对时代的思考，贯通于作品中。
展览由透、明、透明三部分呈现，不同于艺术家为人熟知的户外涂鸦形式，本次展览艺术家将回归架上绘画的形式，用纯粹的笔触与表达，向外界展示自己的内心世界。
透 Lucency
透，或明或暗，或深或浅，画作犹如X光射线般，具有穿透的力量；也宛如一种全新的生命，描绘事物的本源。

透明，象征着外部世界与内部世界的边界与连接。而艺术家意图打破隔阂与伪装，通过作品引发观者对真实自我的思考。

在作品形式上，袁骁也进行了与以往不同的突破。在展览 “透·明” 中，他将绘画与雕塑结合，赋予了展览更深层的体验感。本次展出的雕塑作品，与流行元素相关，但由于艺术家对材料的精妙选择，作品又超越了传统意义上的潮流艺术，让观者可以透过透明的外表直视本质。
袁骁用一种透明却斑斓的语言，将转瞬即逝的光阴凝结，将虚无宇宙中的尘埃包裹，用最接近真理的本质装裱。在袁骁看来，玻璃从不是脆弱的代名词，因为足够强大，才敢透视真实。
关于艺术家
袁骁 ｜ VANCE Yuan
世界著名涂鸦团体DNA亚洲唯一成员、泰国顶级涂鸦团体MSV成员。08年街头涂鸦创作至今，10岁开始接触中国画到架上绘画、工业设计等多样性艺术教育。
从2014年开始游走美国、泰国、菲律宾、保加利亚、日本、澳门、韩国、印度尼西亚、毛里求斯、德国、澳洲等地进行创作及当地艺术联展擅长质感的写实和表达，其透明风格在世界艺术圈内广受好评并多次受邀前往各国担任艺术嘉宾。

HOW+ is pleased to announce that Transparency, artist VANCE Yuan’s first museum solo exhibition, will be on view at HOW+SPACE TWO since October 29, 2022.
Transparency is the first solo exhibition of VANCE in China, marking a connecting point of his artistic career. The artist uses the language of glass to reinterpret several classic images, composing another possibility in parallel time and space. VANCE's creation began with traditional Chinese painting. With an extraordinary mastery of painting skills, he demonstrates a unique physical logic for the control of light and shadow vision. VANCE traveled around different countries and cities, the experiences of creating on the streets allowed him to refine his unique views on art from life. In terms of creative content, VANCE not only combines traditional techniques with pop culture, but also integrates his insight and reflection upon daily life and the times into his works.
The exhibition consists of three parts: Lucency, Clear and Transparency. Unlike his more well-known outdoor graffiti works, in this exhibition VANCE will return to the form of oil painting, showing his inner self through pure brushstrokes and expressions to the outside world.
Lucency
Whether bright or dark, deep or shallow, the paintings from the first part Lucency possess the penetrating power just like X-rays; it is also like a whole new life, depicting the origin of things.

Clear
The second part Clear is both the ultimate reality and the ultimate fantasy. It uses realistic brushstrokes to create physical phenomena which is invisible and cannot be replicated by technology.

Transparency
Transparency, symbolizes the boundary and connection between the outer world and the inner world. The artist intends to break down barriers and disguise, and lead the viewers to reflect upon themselves through his works.

In terms of the form of artworks, VANCE also makes a breakthrough from the past. In the exhibition Transparency, he skillfully combines painting and sculpture, giving the exhibition an richer and more profound experience. The sculpture on view are related to popular elements, but due to the subtle choice of materials, the works go beyond the trend art in traditional sense, allowing the viewers to look directly at the essence through the appearance.
VANCE uses a transparent but colorful language to condense the fleeting time; wrap the dust in the empty universe; and mount it with the essence of the truth. In VANCE's view, glass is never synonymous with fragility. Only because it is strong enough, it can reflect the truth.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
VANCE Yuan
Since 2008, he started to create street graffiti. he started to learn landscape painting when he was 10 years old. Later,he received various education such as oil painting, heavy color painting and industrial design.
In 2012 he joined the world famous graffiti group DNA (the only member in Asia).
In 2016, he joined MSV, the top Graffiti group in Thailand.
Since 2014, he has been traveling to the United States, Thailand, the Philippines, Bulgaria, Japan, Macau, South Korea, Indonesia, Mauritius, Germany, Australia and other places for creation and local group exhibitions.
HOW昊美术馆于2022年正式创立全新艺术品牌——HOW+。该品牌由昊美术馆创立，HOW+团队独立运营。HOW+代表与任何领域、人群发生连接的可能性。通过持续举办展览与跨界联合项目，打造全新复合型艺术空间与艺术品牌。视野涵盖艺术、科技、商业、设计、建筑、时尚、音乐等多元流行文化形式。借由多维度展览拉近艺术、商业与大众之间的距离，推动并打造一个更贴合前沿艺术动态、城市消费潮流的文化艺术现场。
